Also wanted to post this recap of the conference which has a paragraph on each team from D1 Baseball. They are top notch in my opinion.
South Carolina got a long-awaited chance to prove itself and passed with flying colors, despite the rainout that led to a two-game split. In the opener, the Gamecocks hit a pair of home runs off LSU ace Paul Skenes and got a good start from Will Sanders, who sat out last weekend

Wow, this sums up how difficult it is to be competitive on a yearly basis in baseball I guess.

One good run at the end of the year or a bad one can make or break you.

This quote pretty much sums up Dave Van Horn, but it seems he does better when he ain’t supposed to….

[qoute]

Every team in the SEC can win games when things go their way. Every roster is talented, every team has a way in which it plays its best baseball, and as the cliche goes, any of the 14 teams in the league can beat any of the others on any given day when one team plays well and the other doesn’t.

But the real trick is finding ways to consistently win games when things don’t necessarily go your way, and perhaps no team in the SEC is better at doing that week after week and year after year like Arkansas.

When only 8 teams make it to the CWS it's almost impossible to make it year after year. Even harder is making the National Championship game. When was the last time a school played for the NC in back to back to back years

That’s impressive, I guess the baseball gods figured you’d filled your quota…haha

Seems Vandy has done some of that as well…
