From Saban's press conference:

quote:

“Tua hasn’t missed a day of practice,” Saban said. “He could’ve gone back in the game, like I said (Saturday). He’s going to practice today. Probably better this week than he was last week, so we’re going to see how he does in practice and continue to evaluate him.

“As long as the medical staff clears him, we’ll keep working him to try to get him ready to play in the game.”

The vols have accepted their fate regardless. It’s the bunch in LA that’s monitoring the Tua situation. I was hoping he would sit out this weekend. The LSU game is so much more fun when they think they’ll beat us.

Then again, they’re probably too far gone at this point and think they’ll win anyway. Amazing what a 1-1 stretch that includes a loss to Florida can do for a fan base like that one. It’s on to the playoffs every time they win a big game

It's a loss regardless so I'm not sure why any of us would care who plays QB. We don't have the talent to beat Bama and we're perfectly aware of that.

Saban trying to break him. Doesn't want him transferring to play against him when he gets benched for his little brother.

I would let Jalen start this weekend and have Tua ready as an emergency QB if the offense can't get going and the game is close. I think giving Tua almost two full weeks to rest the knee before practice week begins for LSU is most beneficial to Bama going forward. You Know coach O is going to tell his players to go after that knee and twist it if they can.

Don't need Tua to beat 10erC. Probably don't need him to beat LSU. Tua will go in and throw some dimes and Jalen will take the knee.

I’m not even ashamed.

You sound worried, but you shouldn’t be. You know that Bama could lose 2 or 3 games and still make the playoffs.

Only one team has made the title game with two losses and it wasn't Bama.

Hey now..

LSU doesn't play dirty and throw 5 or 6 punches on defenseless players or intentionally try to harm them.
