After they hooked up the epidural, we had to get my wife off the phone so she could push. Modern anesthesia is really something.

Any word on the severity of his injury? Can he continue his career when he’s healed?

I don’t think anyone really knows at this point. Hopefully his surgery goes well and he can go on to play NFL ball and make his money.

He’s a good kid. I would hate for his career to end here. Luckily, orthopedics and sports medicine has advanced greatly over the last 30 years.
