I just find it weird that, as a college student, all his male relatives get together after games and whip him with belts. Seems excessive.

Maybe you missed the part where tua’s dad beat him with a belt when he played bad - or the story from last year where we (LSU) brought in his brother on a visit for the Bama game and rolled out the red carpet, and after the game he said something to our staff along the lines of “you really think I would ever play for you?” Then ran off.

Most all of these kids are and the key word is kids. Its fun and I love to win but these kids bust their arse every day to be the best they can be only to be criticized but a bunch of fat arse losers sitting at home on their fat arse.
I love having a great football program and to be hones the games are much more exciting when you stand a chance to lose. The LSU game is the only Alabama game I have watched all year and it was a great one.

The wrong crowd is everywhere. Except that in sports, particularly football, your peers and role models are one in the same. You can come in being a perfectly nice kid and a straight a student and come out of it in shackles.
