Why? I don't give a frick about bama. Football is on the decline and you are a complete joke in basketball and baseball.

Exactly. Joe Burrow doesn't give a Shi.t about LSU.
The swamps aren't exactly a destination. Which is why Louisiana is one of the few states that has lost population.

Tua was strictly a business decision. But he's said how much he likes Alabama. He doesn't have to keep saying it over and over.

So you think Tua is being genuine about his love for Bama but Burrow doesn't give a shite about Louisiana?

Considering the state of USC football, it appears he made the right move.

Maybe there was a strong arse offer to his dad?

I'm sure many people will choose to believe that.

But the cost of living difference alone between the 2 states pretty much blows the theory out of the water.

It's always so weird how these great athletes display such creativity and intelligence on the field but get them off the field and they barely have a clue what's going on.

Tua's said some weird stuff about his dad in the past, just add this to the list.

Sounds like good parenting to me.

most residential areas of Hawaii are actually shitholes as well. Its not all Hawaii 5-0 with beachside penthouses everywhere.

Again, I don't care if Bama set his dad up for life. That's not the point. I'm more shocked that he couldn't even come up with a lie about why he went there. Tua always seemed immature in his interviews which goes hand in hand with living with the crazy dad. Him saying that just kind of makes you wonder about his mental make up. His dad won't be able to dictate anything to an NFL franchise. It's going to be a super interesting storyline to follow.

During Tua's senior season, Bama beat USC 52-6.

At least USC won the rose bowl that year, but I think that game was a somewhat accurate depiction of the difference between the two programs at that time.

Downvote me all you want. I lived on Pearl Harbor from 2015-2017 and in Waipahu from 2017-2019. Hawaii is legitimately a shithole with a huge homeless population, massive entitlement debt, and a crumbling infrastructure that is only kept intact by a booming tourism industry. If Hawaii was its own nation, it would easily be third world.

The only reason I would ever go back is for the money the military gives me to pay for how expensive it is to live out there.
