They didn't decide to have a presser until this weekend. Feel pretty positive that decision was made when he decided to leave so Saban can do the usual fawning over him like they generally do with juniors leaving. The other juniors just decided to go ahead and do it themselves over social media.

Oh I don’t think he staying… There’s no benefit to it. The tricky part is navigating how he keeps his draft stock up. One things for sure, I really appreciate the fact that he is a good kid and wish him well no matter what he does.

It's harder to judge this until we know the actual decision. I'm sure he's been asked by everyone, their brother, and 3 cousins. He doesn't require media to attend, it's who he is that draws the attention. He would still announce if it was just the crimson white and al dot com there.

I recall an announcement presser for a group of LSU players somewhat recently. It's just the thing to do now I guess.
