A&M top 5 with only 21 recruits... haven't seen recruiting that good at A&M in years. SEC is tough, though. Still the third rated class in the division, and just wish we could have landed an elite safety. Every other need addressed, especially with the early enrollees.

This conference is absurd. When a top 10 class still makes you feel like your class left something to be desired, it's just gotten ridiculous.

Correct.

Incorrect. Hurd and Malone are close, though, thanks for playing.

The fact that they only average of the top 20 from each class makes your point of quantity factoring in on the better class moot.

Incorrect. Unless I'm reading the explanation wrong, then each recruit in a class is included in the 247 rankings, even though the impact is less significant than on other sites. That's how our star average ends up being the 4th best in the SEC, yet our team rating is 6th.

16 four stars is low quality? Oh.

Penalizing Tennessee's class because it has a low average star rating is so silly. We could easily drop the Moseleys, Medleys, Robertsons, etc. of the world and have a higher star rating but taking 30+ to add bodies to our roster benefits us far more than focusing on only elite guys to bolster average star rating.

Not sure why taking more players somehow makes it less impressive. No way would Tennessee trade classes with UGA imo.

We had the highest average star rating that we've ever had...its not top heavy but it doesn't have any unrated guys or anything at the bottom either. I don't think we're last

It's just a difference of opinion and I didn't knock their class at all. I was just comparing it to others for the purpose of my rankings. I had no clue UT fans would get so riled up over some guys personal rankings on tRant.

UT's class is underrated. It will end up being very elite... only time will tell though.

It's actually been that way a while. Don't see it change either. Recruiting is a year round business and it's unreal

I think if we are good enough to be listed twice then we should be tier 1 material. Especially if you add up the two recruiting classes you have posted.

Serious question no flame, I didn't follow it in detail, why 4 below the limit? Did anyone flip at the last moment?

There was a time it seemed a&m was getting daily commits, I thought it was a full class.

We filled up pretty early. Aside from landing the two UT flips these last few months have been quiet

we will not know the true rankings until 2 or 3 years had passed. Until then, it is all about making money from the biggest and more active fan bases.
