Exactly. I am inclined to say LSU let Chavis go away. They made a decision he wasn't worth what the Ags were offering. I truly believe both programs will be better from this move.

I thought this was worse yesterday than I do now. The more that I hear from Aggie fans and the more that I think about this, the more that I think that LSU might have lucked into a blessing in disguise here.

It all depends on who LSU hires, of course.

But, again, to assure your growing insecurity, A&M got a good coach. No doubt about it.

No. Sumlin has two years left at A&M. They will be okay next year but still won't win the west. Will put up a bunch of points and then go take a NFL job and Chavis will be looking somewhere to go.

I kinda get the feeling LSU didn't exactly try hard to keep Chavis.

Nah man they stole him away from us. In the same way a homeless person steals things out of the garbage.

True

In the very short window of time, we have seen:
Vols pick up recruits that LSU was in the hunt for
Daylon Mack CANCEL his LSU visit

These are indisputable facts, and they have damaged LSU, again in a very short span of time.

Deny all you want, but you have missed on wanted commodities.

True, LSU is about to take a nose dive. Arky and Atm bout to start stealing recruits at will.

Just the nature of the Coaching profession. Obviously, A&M wanted Chavis more than LSU. Personally, I think A&M made a great hire. Doesnt mean much more than that and certainly guarantees nothing. LSU will hire a fine replacement. LSU is at or near the top of the coaching positions for college football and it is possible LSU thought it could get better for the dollar than Chavis wanted to pay.

Have you ever spoken to Chavis? I've known him since he was at Alabama A&M. I promise you in two years he'll be back down at that level. All I can say is, if you ever get the chance, just talk to the man.

Good luck and thank you so much for taking this guy.

I can say this because I've been saying it for a long time. All he had going for him was player talent.

Y'all are going to so regret this hire. And all the LSU homers will soon realize what an upgrade pretty much anyone will be.

True or false, Aggie can't stop thinking about male genitalia. All the evidence points to true.

Seriously, dude. You don't know what you've got. You're clueless. I've been saying this a long time, so you can look and see it's no melt.

It's a thank you.

If Miles didn't think Chavis could be easily replaced and get an upgrade, he would have locked him up. LSU is gonna be fine, and Chavis will struggle keeping his guys healthy and fresh with a gimmicky/quick off the field offense on the other side of the ball. Good luck though, still 0-3 vs LSU!

You're the one who thinks Sumlin touched LSU's nuts. So many other parts of LSU's hypothetical body he could punch, and you chose nuts.

Thanks your problem, amigo.
