LOL it actually is how it works right now
hang on...maybe im not understanding you, but you are saying this
ncaa said he cant play
judge hasnt issued a ruling but is going to say the docket is too busy
so chambliss is suddenly eligible?
because that is not how it works
the judge has to issue the TRO
at the point he doesnt get the decide when the appeal is

The hearing for a TRO is on the 12th. After that it likely won’t be heard again until 2027. Thus, he’s able to play.

Get ready to see Chambliss behind center next season... Kinda scares you doesn't it.

oh ok yea i was completely misunderstanding what you were saying, you were unclear
i personally think it gets denied.

There is that chance and he’ll go on to the NFL at that point. I’m banking on venue being friendly to Trinidad’s cause and them granting the TRO.

I agree there’s very little chance he’s not playing for OM next season

I don't get his not going Pro, he could get a serious career ending injury and it's not worth the gamble.

Just let him play, Jesus. What’s the big deal? He obviously doesn’t think he can make it as a pro so he has one more year to earn and then he’ll likely be holding a clipboard, playing in Canada or just calling it quits to get on a staff and move up into a coaching role. Let him earn

Unfortunately when he sees the OM law school judge next week he'll be given an injunction and will play in 26.

Booper he'll make more money at OM than the NFL. He's expected to be a 3rd or 4th round pick.

Capt. Maybe it's scares you, I'd rather beat the rebs with him playing.

You really think the judge with the Ole Miss shirt on denies this???.....I would have to see it to believe that

based on his actual case....or lack there of...yes.
Ole miss fans are saying he will issue tro simply based off him be an OM alum
but the precedence it sets is pretty much unprecedented. opens the door for every player, including former players to just file a lawsuit with a local court and boom....they can play again.
insane
i mean frick it....lets get lets let Nuss file saying he had a throat infection while sitting behind JD5 and bring him back....frick it. hell or lets get Joey B to come back a year...he had the broken bone that kept him from playing...or lets get Jamar back...he sat because of covid
or frick it, let florida get tebow back for another run...im pretty sure we can make up a reason.
the judge has to think about those kinds of things

No such thing is the school you were at doesn't document the issue, but this also occurred at a division level that's not governed by the NCAA. If I remember hearing correctly.

TRO is not a sports word nor acronym and I am tired of hearing it.
I wish the NCAA would grow a set and make the athletes "poor" again.

how can the NCAA make them poor again? the NCAA didnt chose to make NIL happen or rev share....the courts did
i am tired of hearing dumbasses blame the NCA for not "growing a set" when it was the courts, not them

The NCAA could have kept the revenue sharing number at 20 million and then be done with the rest of the NIL collective stuff. They could have done a whole lot of things differently.
