I have a question. If Chambliss were to actually win the Heisman, when his case gets overturned eventually like it most assuredly will, will they take the Heisman back for him being ineligible?

Yes, and Ole Miss should be kicked out of the SEC.
Thats not my opinion, but those are the established rules of the board as it relates to playing ineligible players.

ineligble is not the same as player with an NFL contract. But keep trying.

You tell me which one sounds more ‘pro’:
24 years old, 6th year, $6,000,000 contract, NCAA declared ineligible 4x therefore should be in the NFL
Or
22 years old, 5th year, $190 contract paid, never played a second of any preseason game, lasted 8 weeks before cut, never made 53 man roster, actual activity consisted of weight lifting and a handful of NFL practices
Like, what are we doing here? Since when did common sense get completely thrown out the window? College kids at Power 4 level are professionals. Or at least at Top 25 programs. They are ‘pro’.

No. Lane's high pitched halftime speech that I listened to damaged my ear drums and made my dog run outside.

24 year olds and older have been playing for a long time. Utah and BYU have made a living with it. There has never been an age limit on college football.
As far as I know, paying players now is acceptable.
None of the power 4 conferences want players who signed NFL contracts to come back and play. Sorry.

He’s a full troll, I don’t know why you’re trying to have a conversation with him.

It is time for LSU to find a new conference.

So….
Ole Miss - Ineligible
Texas - Double Dog Dare You Ineligible
LSU - Triple Dog Dare You Ineligible
Only LSU is punishable for a player suing to play. No way that Ole Miss encouraged Chambliss or put him in contact with his lawyer. Same with Texas

Equally ineligible

The judge that ruled in Chambliss’ favor was an Ole Piss alumnus.
LSU was a red herring the entire time while the Landsharts somehow flew under the radar with Chambliss.

The SEC will probably drop their lawsuit. But I hope it goes through.
These are the things courts hate
1) ambiguity in the law/rules
2) unequal application of law/rules
3) creating a law/rule to govern past behavior
Stankey will have to testify
1) doesn’t know what a pro is
2) doesn’t know why they allow Chambliss
3) banned a segment of players after an injunction allowing them

Better be careful! Ole Miss gonna hang the banner pre game before LSU.

Doubtful Chambliss will be ruled ineligible because his case will become moot after he plays this season. And he is in compliance with SEC (voluntary association) rules.
Lane’s boys have issues on both fronts and he can’t play them and risk expulsion from the sec which would (will, likely) happen if he were to play them and lose the federal first amendment case pending in Ala.
