Even if you don't like the sport, you should still want your school to be the best at it. True fans are a fan of the university and not just one of the sports teams.

Let me get 1 thing straight right away - I give 0 fricks about being a "true fan" or any of that shite. The idea that I need to somehow validate what I'm a fan of is about the dumbest thing ever.
I personally couldn't imagine giving a remote frick about your LSU fandom, if you are a true fan or whatever.
But fine, you're all true fans and I'm just a terrible sidewalk fan. Ok, at the end of the day I'm still going to enjoy everything the same way, because it turns out you don't need have a certain fan rank to enjoy things.
I hope Alabama does well, but basketball is a terrible sport that is to easily influenced by refs, politics and so on. It's sleazy, corrupt and all the fake flops and such just make it a very undesirable sport for me.

I wasn't trying to "shame" you at all. This a sports message board where some people disciss sports from time to time. You seem to be a little sensitive about your fandom or lack thereof. I've noticed there are quite a few ladies on this board. Maybe you can borrow a tampon so you'll stop bleeding your vagina all over the place.

Again, this is a sports message board. You gave your opinion on a matter and I countered with my opinion. Then, you typed out some 6 paragraph defensive response. If you don't want to support basketball, that is certainly your right.

The ole miss women’s golf team turns a sexual profit instead of monetary profit. So programs that turn a sex profit are 1 1/2 citizens. Second class citizen programs are those that don’t turn a monetary or sexual profit.

Are you out there demanding the best from LSU in sports you don't give a shite about? Are you going to be heartbroken if the best chess player in the state doesn't join your chess team?

Because IMO if you're a fan of the school then you should want all sports to be competing at a high level.

I give a shite about all of them because I was raised on LSU sports and the university as well. Do I demand it? No. Do I hope for and cheer for every team to win as much as possible? Absolutely.
