Because LSU offered more than Memphis and Alabama. Had LSU fired Wade he’d be playing for Alabama.

No offense but OP's play seems dumb as rocks. Up 3 points and you throw it off the backboard as opposed to taking the easy layup. Easily could have gone badly.
