Not really. But as I was saying, if given the choice who wouldn't pull for the school?
You're trying to create some separation between "football fans" and "school fans" that just really doesn't exist.
Everyone pulls for the school, they have absolutely no reason not too. If given a choice between a school having a good basketball team and a bad basketball team, who would pick otherwise.
I'm not out there watching Kentucky basketball or some other team, I don't watch any of it. It's a shitty sport. But if it makes you feel any better, the only basketball game I will even remotely watch or leave on the TV is an Alabama game.
The whole notion of "true fans" and all that is dumb and just shite some people need to feel better about themselves.
