And most of the starters have signed deals to stay with Ole Miss. y’all will likely get Winston Watkins and that’s it.

Speaking of Watkins, as an OM fan, if he were to portal, do you think LK and co. have more sway than Simmons? We need WRs in CoMo as well.

Not certain on Winnie and Simmons connection, but Lane has had a love affair with Winnie all season and will be looking for a win.

Rankings are kinda meaningless at this point. It's such a condensed window. It's going to look much different after another week.

These rankings are always meaningless.

LSU had the top ranked portal class last year. How'd that work out for them?

Indiana had the 25th ranked portal class last year. How'd that work out for them?

NOT a single team ranked ahead of LSU with multiple portal pickups that have a HIGHER per player AVG than tigers. Quality OVER quantity at this point.

Those 2 WRs Lane just picked up BOTH top 10 in country for YPR, 20 a pop. That RB was a 5* in ;26 cycle. Read where he was a horn commit at one time, Reclassified and signed with Utah in '25. Now LSU has a '26 5* RB with a year of college under his belt. TE was going to be Pitts starter this year.

CLK just getting started, Quality OVER quantity at this point.

Is the punter going to be the one giving the ball to those players?

Hopefully you guys get a return on talent on the field, because it's been absent in all those 4-5* the past several years.

So, you had quantity and quality both with the current landslide of seasons.

By your logic less of more is more?

Ole Miss’ best signee is a guy LSU wouldn’t retain and is a decent potential guard insisting on being an OT.

Guy didn’t just look bad, he was atrocious and didn’t even try at times.

Portal has been open for like 4 days. Players don’t have to sign day 1.

It will be a very fun time a few years from now when the shine wears off Ole Miss and they return to being regular Ole Miss.

But until further notice, they are the kings of the SEC currently. So let them have their moment!

Is that how the criteria works?
Yes. That's just common sense.

Give the players flat value- call each a dollar bill.

Auburn loses 30 dollars and gains 10. What are you stuck with?

If you start attaching empirical and intrinsic value then it gets more murky but Auburn has lost plenty valuable players to be at the bottom then, as well.

Auburn has to try to break even

WOW what a profound question. Being he just LEFT you after SIX years. Did he ever have a season where his PUNTER handed the ball off to a player?

Matt Corral Jaxson Dart Trinidad Chamblis any of those names sound familiar?

CBK inherited LSU at its lowest point since curly? You familiar with curly? Kelly had LSU in SEECG year 1. Followed that up with another 10 win season and Heisman QB. Problem was the worst LSU defense ever. Last year is the result of a starting QB not fully healthy all season. If it wasn't for one of the best defenses' in SEC LSU probably doesn't make a bowl.

Now LSU has one of the best offensive and defensive mind combos in the country.
