Decent coach, but a lazy recruiter

Thank goodness honestly, we have too many recuiters and not enough coaches that can actually develop talent.

He seemed to get injured in every other game.

Tbf it’s not like Rocker recruited any of these goons anyways

I’m surprised he didn’t just retire

I looks like we are replacing him with Jimmy Brumbaugh.

Love how Boom talks shite about UGA so much, but his entire coaching staff is comprised of UGA alumni and former coaches.

Oh yea...he is an Alumn as well.

Rocker will help USCe's recruiting for sure.

Why is no one making him sit out for 2 seasons for transferring within the Conference?

Oh, my bad, only the uber-valuable, unpaid Labor Force has to worry about such mundane things as Rules

If a RS-Fr that never played in any game grew 1 inch, put on 20lbs, and increased his 40 time by a tenth of a second and wanted to Transfer within the Conference, the Tenn HC would lose his effin mind and would garner help from the AD, School Prez, and SEC Commish to make that RS-Fr's life a living hell, but an Asst that earns upwards of $500K wants to do the same thing and the Tenn HC doesn't bat an eye

In my simplistic world that means that hypothetical RS-Fr is worth $500K + 1 dollar, based on how the HC responds to both situations

What shite has Muschamp talked about UGA and how mentally weak are you for taking it seriously?

Any kid that would transfer and sit out an entire year all because the position coach changed are idiots and their parents aught to step in and advise them it would be a stupid decision. Transfer because of a position coach?

Here is an article from a little over a month ago (January 7th) where it suggests that Rocker probably wouldn't be back at UT (when UT thought they had a chance at Lupoi).

It says Rocker was thinking about retiring or either going to Vandy to be nearer his son who is playing baseball there and is about to be a high draft pick.

Interesting how different people read that differently because I read it that Rocker had pretty much let Pruitt know he was leaving one way or the other after signing day and to be prepared.

Anyways, it looks like it will work out fine for both programs. Rocker is SEC DLine royalty who, being a bit older, should be able to catch-up all this DLine talent we have on the roster.

I like the Rocker hire although I've always wondered what happened at UGA.

BTW, if Rocker just keeps SC instate DLine talent home and pulls a few from his hometown of Atlanta it'll be a win win recruiting deal for SC. We've got the coaches handling NC already. We always have a couple two or three top notch DLine prospects in state so anything we pull out of Atlanta with Rocker is gravy.

#1 Clemson runs your State

#2 Rocker finished HS in 1984 give or take?

Elite Recruits in the ATL see him as just another "old dude" Recruiting for an SEC Team not named Bama-LSU-GA-FLA

Recruits in the ATL might have to ask Parents or Grandparents who Tracy Rocker was

In summary, he ain't the advantage you think he is

To be fair hardly any coach has at UT for a long time.

Also to be fair Tennessee hasn’t had talent really until the last few years.
