I guess they have nothing else to work with. Alabama's season can be measured by meaningful wins and losses, which leaves more to discuss, while LSU's dogshit showing means they're back to having hypothetical future success based on what might happen with a new coach. There's only so much mileage you can get out of that, apparently, so hard to blame them for latching onto 'Bama... again.
