I believe the ncaa relies on winning % of opponents here, aka western michigan is as tough as bama.

The NCAA only goes off wins and losses. In other words Western Michigan is like playing Bama because they were both undefeated. I would go with the Sagarin SOS for a better gage of how tough a schedule really is.

Yeah, Kent St. and Wyoming really had harder schedules playing in the Mid-American and Mountain West conferences than A&M did.
