Torvik Pre-season Projections by Conference (Basketball)

2022 Torvik Preseason Metric Projections
As many have noted and thought might happen, the metrics see the SEC as a league that is as good as anyone in the top half (6 Top 25 teams, 7 Top 50) but worse than anyone in the bottom half (4 teams outside Top 100).

Come on Georgia, you're in a highly populated state with an NBA team and tons of great basketball players coming out of Atlanta. No reason you should suck this bad.

If it does shake out this way, it's also going to hurt any potential SEC bubble teams, as Georgia would presumably only be a Q4 win (or loss).
