I have a good friend around the Dallas area and haven't heard from her since 2:45ish. It's making me sick not being able to get in touch with her.

I've got the same problem. Cell towers are probably broke and the ones that aren't are overloaded.

I'm pretty sure AnalyzeThat lives in Dallas. Has anyone heard from him today?

I'm not sure if he is at home right now or if he is in BR for school.

Sounds like some areas have been hit pretty bad. I checked in with my family and they are safe but I hope everyone on here is okay too.

Im hoping that's all that's wrong. Another friend down there said there haven't been any reported deaths yet, but I dunno how true that is.

Sounds like Forney was hit the worst. A reporter on the ground there says it "it looks like a bomb went off." That could be an exaggeration, but there are probably some very serious injuries.

yeah, and a good belt could keep you and your ho from getting sucked into a tornado that lifts harvesters, tractors and houses.

But those pipes went down at least 30 feet!

Wow, moments after my buddy ran into the Hyatt his truck was completely demolished by hail slightly larger than baseballs. He said it was unrecognizable.

I remember walking from the RBD library at AU back to my apartment when a minor hail storm broke out. I ducked into the AU hotel but not before a few pieces hit me. I can't imagine being in something like that.
