This is a good answer if you are looking to troll and have some laughs but the honest truth is that there is always some school in Texas or who recruits texas heavy (OU and OKie state) who are competing in and winning big games.

Within their own conferences, yes.

Nobody plays smash mouth football in Texas anymore. Jimbo is trying to change that at A&M, but he's going to have to recruit more from the southeast to get it done, because the disease that is Big 12 football has permeated down to the high school ranks in Texas.

Ou is making decisions that benefit itself and only itself. This is supported by the fact that OU has been in the top 5 of net revenue every year since the realignment. Not to mention, ou is either elite or very good in every sport besides women’s hoops, and a couple other secondary/tertiary programs that no one GAF about. The moment that their conf affiliation is deemed to be holding them back either monetarily or competitively, they will be bolting to greener pastures ASAP.

No, Texas makes all decisions for Oklahoma, and occasionally, they will let Oklahoma know what those decisions are so the folks in Norman can claim them for themselves.

An Aggie talking about someone else being someone’s bitch. What do you call a team that is 1-7 against their top rivals (Bama & LSU)? You guys are prison trained.

I'm no Aggie apologist, but they did tell Texas to frick off and bolted to the SEC. I'd say they, more than anyone else, have unique perspective on how Texas operates within their little Big 12 world.

We could go winless, and I’d prefer our situation to yours.
(your attempt at changing the subject wasn’t missed, btw)
We told the B12 to pound sand.
Your school sits in the corner and does as it’s told.

I’ve always been against going to the sec. OU is about being the best and if they were in the SEC, they would have to have deep pockets to compete just like the rest of the conference. We would get popped very quick. We invented cheating....

In the words of the great Charles Barkley, “We take care of our own in the SEC”.

That being said, I think OU as of late has been opening up the check book. The recruiting has been very abnormal.

The big XII and SEC have traded big wins in bowl games back and fourth recently. Also other schools out of the initial footprint like Oregon and Stanford under Harbaugh and Kelly had their QBs and RBs from Texas.

Texas is also one of the better states for both total raw numbers and per captia in NFL players produced.

Like FSU and Clemson, would rather stay out of the sec for the easy path to Championships.

And beat Corndog like a dog (corndog) when we were in the SWC and Corndog was in the SEC...not to mention 2018.

Get back with us after Jimbo's 10 years are up corndog. Putting others down somehow helps you from eating a bullet I see. Great job!

Stoops had a big win a few years ago. Other than that, the big 12 hasn't done squat.

QBs and skill players from Texas are fine. The issue is the beef. Too much finesse football is played in Texas these days, all the way up through the college ranks. It's no small wonder that A&M and Texas can recruit at such a high level, but get out-physicaled more often than not on Saturdays.

If you want to be successful in the SEC, you recruit the southeast for trench players and linebackers, not Texas.

Oklahoma fears nothing. We simply dominate in all environments. We would be the same road warriors we are now. The sec teams would fear us because they know they are getting bumped down in recruiting, wins, conference titles. Sure Bama Georgia could beat us but more often than not we would be eliminating the big boys from nc contention. Trust me there is no room for OU in the sec.. we simply are to powerful.

Except in your last five bowl games of significance, which is the only environment that matters.

Lost to Georgia in the Playoff.
Lost to Clemson in the Playoff.
Lost to Florida for the BCS Championship.
Lost to USC for the BCS Championship.
Lost to LSU for the BCS Championship.

If you look at Miss State denfense, and knowing OU has none, MSU would give them a game right now, I assure you.
