Not sure if serious.

And here's a couple of others:

1974 Notre Dame vs. USC.

The Irish go into the half with a 24-7 lead. The Trojans promptly mounted an incredible comeback and won the game 55-24.

1989 Alabama vs. Ole Miss.

Ole Miss jumped out to a quick 21-0 lead but Alabama went on to win the game by a score of 62-27.

The Iron bowl 24-0 comeback was incredible because of how much more it should've been. Trent dropping the wide open TD dumpoff route in the endzone, Ingram fumbling on the twenty, and then McCelroy fumbling on the 4 yard line. It should've been MUCH worse than 24-0. That's why it was so incredible.

Also, Auburn vs Alabama is the greatest rivalry in the game. Not many people care about USC vs Notre Dame or Alabama vs Ole Miss.

Also, It was just epic because all of the things surrounding Cam. Alabama fans literally hated him because he stole their spotlight that entire season, and they finally thought they were about to get revenge and then he absolutely ripped their hearts out, and secured the Heisman Trophy on their field. One physco bandwagon Alabama fan even went as far as driving to Auburn to poison our trees. LOL. It was the most devastating loss for a fanbase I've ever seen.

That's why it won't be topped.

It was a very enjoyable game but I don't think its going to make many lists as best ever (outside Auburn) any more than the famous Buffalo Bills playoff comeback with Reich instead of Jim Kelly will make many lists as best playoff game (at least not outside Buffalo).

I was far more devastated by the 2008 Florida SEC Championship.

If you think back to 2008, a guy winning a NC at two schools seemed downright impossible. We had gone 7-6 the year before and won every game going into the SEC Championship. I, probably like many others, saw 2008 as the year we either win the NC or we never will under Saban. Then we get to the game. We played our asses off but still couldn't win. There's no feeling like that, if you haven't ever felt that way after a game. Then, with Tebow coming back the next year, and us losing our QB, RB, and some key veteran players (Rashad Johnson, Antoine Caldwell, ect.) We just knew that Florida was going to do it again in 2009.

The 2010 Auburn game was tough to get over, but we could actually blame ourselves for that loss. We're the ones who gave up a 24-0 lead and only scored 3 in the second half. Against Florida, we did everything right, but still came short. That's the only game I've ever cried over.

SC @ UF 2006. Had an extra point (maybe even 2) blocked and the potential game winning FG kicked was blocked as well as time expired. Lost that game 17-16. If we had won that game the SEC streak would've had to start a year later.

Definitely one of my favorite moments in the Swamp ever.

FG at 18 second mark for those who care.

You won't ever admit it, but everyone knows Alabama fans would take winning the 2010 iron bowl 10 times out of 10 over winning the SEC championship that year.

The only things Alabama fans hate more than losing is seeing Auburn win big, especially when it's their fault for Auburn making it to the National Championship.

That's because you have a short memory. The 2008 SEC Championship Game was far worse for me because we were 12-0 and ranked #1 in the country. If we won that game we were going to go on to play for the national championship. We lost in the 4th quarter and it felt horrible.

The 2010 Iron Bowl loss, while it hurt, didn't really feel as bad after I had 30 minutes or so to think it over. We were 9-2, had no chance of winning the SEC West, and very little chance of making it to a BCS bowl. We were pretty much just playing spoiler. And while it sucked that Auburn went on to win the whole thing, that loss can't even begin to compare to the sadness I felt after the '08 Florida loss.

Then you aren't thinking properly. A win in the 2010 Iron Bowl and a berth in the Capital One Bowl (the bowl we ended up going to anyway) does not trump an SEC championship and BCS title game appearance that would have come with a victory over Florida in 2008.

Exactly. Now if we were 10-1 or 11-0 going into that game, it would've been a different story. Then the Auburn loss is definitely the most devastating. But the 2008 offseason was simply HORRIBLE. Having won the NC the previous year really took the sting off of Auburn 2010. I'm sure there are some who would rather Auburn lose than Alabama win a NC, but I'm not one of them

I know you are lying because no one would be that upset over losing to a much better team when you were projected to only go 7-5 or 8-4 at best for that season.

The 2010 Iron Bowl hurt much worse because you were ranked #1 in the preseason and Auburn was an afterthought at the beginning of the year. You thought that with the 2009 championship that you had buried Auburn's run of dominance from 2002-2007 and wouldn't hear from it again while Saban was at Alabama. Low and behold, Cam Newton came along and you hated it. You finally got a glimmer of hope that your nightmare season would be turned around because of Cam allegedly getting payed and therefore being suspended, but that turned out not to be the case. The only way you could end the nightmare was to beat Auburn yourself. You were up 24-0 at HOME! 24-0, LOL. And it should've been a hell of a lot worse!

Then that man that you hated, Cameron Newton, made your worst nightmares come true. He lead Auburn back from arguably the least likely comeback of all time. He secured the heisman trophy inside of Bryant Denny.

That will live with Alabama fans forever. They had an amazing chance to end their nightmare, but Cam only worsened it.

So you would just shrug off a loss like that by saying, "Oh, well...we weren't nearly as good as our record indicated anyway?"

We were 12-0, we were ranked #1 in America, and we were one win away from playing for all the marbles. I was only 7 years old the last time Alabama was in a similar position before '08. To play an incredible game, to give it everything we had, and come up just short in the 4th quarter is about as depressing an outcome as there can ever be. No Iron Bowl loss I have ever experienced even comes close.

Heck...I felt worse after the 2005 Iron Bowl then I did after the 2010.

I'm more okay with Auburn 2010 because we can at least blame ourselves and the fact that we only scored 3 points in the second half. We can't blame ourselves for the 2008 SECCG; we gave it our best shot and it wasn't enough

To me, losing to Auburn in 2010 hurt worse, because we played a great game against Florida, but were just beat by an equally good team.

I feel like we gave the game away to Auburn in 2010.

That being said, would take the 2008 win every time and go to the championship game.

To see the last 5 champions be Alabama, Alabama, Auburn, Alabama, Alabama would be awesome
