Trade them all for one FB champ appearance? Not me
For one (more) FB championship? Not me

For 3 championships? I'd definitely think about it

LSU does claim 47. But this list is based on NCAA recognized championships.. Otherwise Alabama would lead in every category.

South Carolina won natties in Equestrian in 2005, 2007 and 2015. Are we not counting those?

Yeah, and the NCAA doesn't officially recognize FBS national championships either.

The real question is how much longer will Arkansas and LSU be able to hold off Florida? Both programs built up a lot of those titles through their track teams and while track has bounced back for the Hogs and Tigers, Florida tends to be strong in just about every sport.

With Nike pouring an obscene amount of money into the track program at Oregon its going to be hard to rack up track titles until someone at that company gets tired of it.

A&M, having been effectively dead in national titles until recently, seems to be a hot program in that they are starting to pick up titles on a fairly regular basis.

If Arkansas and LSU can hold onto the top two spots five years from now it would be a tremendous achievement for both schools.

LSU is a sitting duck for Florida to pass us up. The track program is still top 10 but not a true title contender like it used to be. A shame Skip Bertman let Pat Henry leave LSU, or otherwise LSU would be near 60 titles by now.

We're title contenders in men's golf, baseball, softball, and gymnastics right now. football is a big question mark. track is somewhat elite, but I'm not so sure we'll win one for a long time with Oregon in the way (Florida too).

I really think Will Wade could do big things for LSU basketball, but obviously it takes a ton of luck to win it all in basketball

From wikipedia:

The Gamecocks have won 10 National Team Championships: 2017 NCAA Championship in Women's Basketball, 2010 & 2011 NCAA National Championships in Baseball, 2002 NCAA Championship in Women's Outdoor Track & Field, 2005, 2007 & 2015 National Championships in Women's Equestrian and 2005, 2006 & 2007 Hunt Seat National Championships in Women's Equestrian.

Going by this it is recognized as a team sport..and we have a total of 10 titles altogether.

I may be wrong..but I do no think the NCAA governs Equestrian sport. The National Equestrian College Association (NCEA, formerly Varsity Equestrian) does. But I don't really care either way so I will edit the OP. Thanks

Arky is good at the exercising competitions but not the real sports. No shame in exercising competition proficiency though.

Florida is the best overall athletic program in the Sec now. Pretty hard to argue. Arkansas has an amazing track and field program. But outside of that they struggle greatly, LSU historically is very strong so right there with UF. However, if rating currently. Its UF
