Top four conference champs get byes .

Imo they will need to change this rule fast. Your basically going to have half the teams on the bye who have no realistic chance of winning a nc and 5-11 will be beating the shite out of each other to get to play a game vs a inferior opponent . Going to see a lot of big ten sec games or sec vs sec in that range .

Well when we have 2 super conferences (its coming thanks to the committee stiffing the ACC) The 1st place team in each conference gets a bye and top 2nd - 5th from each conference gets a playoff spot.

This was the intent of expansion all along, and only whiney-arse dipshits worried about”fairness” could see it. It’s why they didn’t expand to six (perfect) or 8 (approaching too many here, still >>> 12) first.

Only like 3-4 teams every single year have a "realistic" chance of winning. If you desperately desire to change something we can start by not having 12 fricking teams in it.

A&M would never make the Top Four. The media proved that years ago when they put us at #5. I imagine going forward the highest A&M will ever place is thirteen. The steers and their army of lawyers will see to that ...
