Georgia 2007,
Come clean, did you graduate from Auburn or Alabama?
Considering the 2018 season hasn't started yet, I'm going to assume you graduated from UGA.
Certainly wasn't GA Tech. They can do the maths.

Missouri lost to #4 South Carolina and found a way to finish in the top 5 in the BCS qnd AP.
So you're saying both Mizzou and SC were better that year and that SC would have finished higher than Mizzou .... correct?

1983 AU
2004 AU
1993 AU
1988 AU...maybe the best team in the SEC in the 80s and lost in final seconds to LSU/FSU

2012 LSU was Elite when they wanted to be. Their two reg season losses were a fluke at UF and of course Chavis trying to beat the bathroom line at the end of each half in an otherwise dominant performance vs Bama.
Then Eric Reid and co. checked out in the Peach bowl.

Give me 2005 and 2006 LSU. 2005 we played 10 games in a row because of Katrina and just ran out of gas by the time we reached the SECCG. 2006 of course we all know Les screwed up that AU game. Otherwise I think we might beat UF in the rematch in the SECCG to go to the national title.

Off the top of my head, but recently-
03 Auburn
07 UGA
06 LSU
03 Auburn
07 UGA
06 LSU

quote:Grossman was robbed of the Heisman that year. I think he had 300+ yards passing in every game except one, where he threw for like 290 or so. That was a really great Florida team.
2001 Florida. If Graham doesn't get hurt, Tennessee can't tee off on Grossman with the pass rush and Florida beats them. They would have rolled LSU in the SECCG and given Miami a game.
People forget how awesome that offense was.

In your dreams! That 2012 SEC championship is probably the best SECCG of all time. A&M would've embarrassed themselves had they made it there

2. 08-09
3. 09-10
4. 10-11
5. 11-12
6. 12-13
7. 13-14
8. 14-15
9. 15-16
10. 16-17
11. 17-18
Sucks to be dumb.

'17/'12 UGA. Both heartbreakers to Bama in games we shoulda won.
'07 UGA gave up two losses before getting squared away and hot...but I believe they could've beaten any team in the land the latter part of the season.

2001 Florida was awesome. Grossman was awesome that year plus Gaffney and Caldwell...
Lol at anyone that says 2007 UGA...lost to our 6-6 garbage team that year.
Our 2012 or 2013 deserves mention

People are missing OP said neither SEC or national.
Bama 13.
They finished with a rather crummy bowl outing but they lost a single game in the regular season on the road they really should have won, in rather bizarre fashion.
They were a much better team than most of hte other teams listed.
Hell, Bama 10 didn't win any titles either and are better than most of the other teams listed, despite their rather pedestrian 10-3 record.

07 UGA lost to SCAR in the second game and to UT....in the first game of October before getting on a role. As much as I hate to say it now, especially with the talent on that team, I guess that was our coaching but we had beat Bama and Ole Miss before the UT game. After UT, UGA got their heads right and should have played USC for the NC that year.

2010 Bama has to be on the list.

Shall we compare the outcomes of our games against Alabama that year?
A&M was the best team in the country by that point in that season and its not even close.

You mean if piece of shite Darnell Dockett doesn't play dirty and injure Graham.
Also if 9/11 didn't happen and we played UT at the start of the year.
Mind you, still would have lost to Miami in the title which would've hurt - but losing national title games to the two best teams ever would've been a pretty neat stat.

I would have much preferred Mizzou get to play Bama than Auburn in 13.

Your 2013 team lost to 5-7 Tennessee... and y'all were so frustrated during the game in Athens that your own coaches were fighting on the sideline.
