I'm curious as to why everyone is riding Fournette's dick all of the sudden. Dude rushed for less than 50 yards on about 20 carries against Bama. He sucks compared to the rest. Outside of strictly rushing Ingram.
He's a great talent. Alabama could/would stop just about every RB. There are so many things to consider when dealing with talented RBs. It's more than just statistics because those can be colored by the OL, Injuries, the opposing defense, passing attack to take the heat off......so many factors to consider.
That's just my opinion. FWIW, I think Henry was great last year.

I understand your point, Dallas, but Moreno did that in two years while Gurley did it in three. Gurley was fresher and was missing a good bit of the time. Although, I have to admit I didn't realize he only missed 10 games in the 3 years.
Gurley was more talented, but I like durability in a running back. if he isn't on the field he isn't doing you any good. However, I see your point and can't blame you for that.

think ESPN has it right, what say you?
If you go by production Tree Mason deserves to be on there
If you go by accolades Tre Mason deserves to be on there
He isn't a top 3 but he definitely better than Moreno and a better college back than Ingram (better NFL)
Moreno isn't even as good as Chubb

He should be on the list. It was painful watching our gassed defense be run over in the second half especially since we were surrounded by Alabama fans where we were sitting. However, I seem to remember a throw to Amari Cooper that was pretty significant in the second half of that game as well. But my memory is hazy and I have never been able to bring myself to re-watch that game.

Hard to say. If Chubb stays healthy this year and does what he is capable I would agree. But based on what we know....IF Moreno deserves to be on the list, I would say he is too high, though, no doubt. And, Mason does have an argument to be on the list above Moreno.

FWIW... KnoMo was 21-5 in games he played in, TGIII was 24-6... 44-10 between them, both DGD's

Edited...

Lattimore is top 5 for sure but likely around #5.
DMac is #1 for sure. Dude was sick.
Gurley
Fournette
Moreno
Think Dexter McCluster may have a slight argument but don't really consider him a true RB.
The Bama backs had awesome lines and don't think any of them had the take it to the house ability of the others.

No doubt, he was a monster, damn shame how it played out. He killed the Dawgs, just a great, dominant college back...

Most definitely and you couldn't go wrong with either!

Maybe because of this.... in 12 games, Leonard Fournette rushed for 1,953 yards. The only SEC running back ever to do better was Herschel Walker with 1,975 (I included his bowl game for the 12th game as it should be). Not Bo, not Henry, not McFadden, not anyone. If LF sucks so bad, why didn't anyone else ever do better?

None of those other guys had the incredible luck and good fortune to play against the dead last 128th ranked rushing defense, the 127th ranked rushing defense in its bowl, the 109th ranked rushing defense, the 79th rushing defense of Syracuse, and WKU. That's why:

Gurley is the 2nd best RB to ever play at UGA. Him not being on this list is stupid enough, but to have knowshon THAT high is insanity.

What is the criteria used for this list?
There have been more productive seasons that Moreno. There has been better RB talents than Moreno. There are players with more accolades than Moreno.
It isn't shitting on Moreno but for a two season player, there are better options out there to be top 5.

Part of the reason they were so lowly ranked was LF...

Michael Dyer was a damn fine running back. I don't think he deserved to be on the list, but saying he is "shite" is retarded.
