how is he gonna find any carries in that crowded LSU backfield?
by the end of the year I wouldn't be shocked if the depth chart looked something like:
Hilliard
Ford
Hill
Blue/Ware

I think I'd put DGB first, then TJ Yeldon. After that, I'm not really sure who I'd put in the remaining three spots.
1. RB Keith Marshall – Georgia The Bulldogs signed Marshall (5-11, 202) hoping he would be able to help right away. Crowell is expected to hang on to the starting tailback job, and people believe he’s matured and made himself a better player. But Marshall will be there to push him. Marshall, who enrolled at Georgia in the spring, will provide a change of pace to Crowell’s tough running style. Marshall might be the nation’s best playmaker in the 2012 class.
That's not the OP's list

For LSU, the three players I think make a fairly immediate impact will be Dural, Feist, and Hill. Both Hill and Dural aren't at positions that LSU needs immediate help, Hill will still get a lot more carries than people realize right now. I would pick a guy like Hunter but with our DE depth I don't think he sees much time until next season when we lose everyone.

Humphries probably won't play in many games this year, unless he's forced to. These lists are all worthless.
Posted on 6/26/12 at 12:46 pm to Alahunter
Humphries is not going to be an impact freshmen. Kid needs to add weight and strength before he makes a splash in the SEC -
A better pick in that spot would be DE/LB Dante Fowler - who has a chance to step up and Fill Ronald Powell's position early in the year while he heals up from that ACL.

I think Landon Collins will be Bama's top true freshman on D. But its unclear how much of a role he will have. It looks like Dime and maybe some Nickel packages at this point

I know right? He probably just remembers the AJ bobble that turned into an interception in the blackout game. Other than that he was pretty damn productive and our best receiver that year.

Agreed, I'm expecting big things from Fowler

He is a RS Frsh but Joe Morrow the 6'4 WR at MSU will make some noise this year, probably all sec freshman team

Kwon Alexander to that list
Forgot about him. Could easily be an impact player for yall this year. Definitely in the top 5 freshman list.
elleshoe - He was 18, an adult. She was 14. Big difference. Playing it off as Sr/Freshman sex is trivializing a crime.

I think it is a good sign that for the 1st time in a while we aren't counting on any tr freshman to make an impact. The only one's that I can see even getting a little playing time are P Miller, J Robinson, J Williams and M Ray. I'm not sure if I should include Ray because at 23 or 24 he isn't your typical freshman but Kiehl's dad seems to think he is going to be a difference maker so I included him based on that alone.

From everything I've heard, Yeldon is a very hard worker...and very very tough. He is taking his off season strength and conditioning program seriously and will be Lattimoresque (sp?) come the fall. I think he'll be the starter, for one reason or another, by the Arkansas game.
