The QB of the team we play this week has regressed in his 3rd year. Maybe he got too much coaching.

TAM did not over spend on their yacht but they tremendously over spent on their yacht captain

How so? If people have the money, why feel the need to tell them how to spend it? I've said it several times. A&M athletics has brought in more money in the last 3 years than any other program in America. If the AD didn't try to spend that money to secure the best possible coach available, I'd be upset.

Do you go to the boat dock and tell millionaire's how dumb they are for how much money they spent on their yacht?

I would if it looked like it was sinking and covered in barnacles

Jimbo isn’t a yacht. He’s more like water wings.

Put another way, nobody is coming to buyout Coach O from LSU.

Good for LSU then, right?

When one looks at A&M and Jimbo, then looks at EdO and LSU, is there anyone who thinks the Aggies are making wiser use of their football money than LSU is?

But surely Jimbo has done better than Sumlin in his first 2 years.
Sumlin- 20-6
Fisher- 16-7

So now we are getting into accounting smack talk?

LSU fans turn into Longhorns fans more and more every day.

Here is the simple fact: not one single Aggie wants to fire Jimbo yet or is willing to say his hire was a mistake yet.

The first coach on the list that actually has a hot seat is Gus.

What gets lost in all of this is it's State money. They're paying money that could go to education in the state.

Actually very little, if any, of it is State money. When teams buyout a coach's salary, they're raising that money through private donations, not using state dollars. Even coaching salaries have a very very small portion that is paid by the state.

Wouldn't it be worse to have a sub $10M buyout for Coach O if he's got the number one team in the country?

Sounds like LSU made a much better investment that the AMers

No; because he isn't going anywhere. Neither is Jimbo or Nick. Gus Bus - who the hell knows.
