Now that the SEC season is officially over, I thought I'd look at who was the most efficient at each position in the conference. I may be slightly biased towards UGA, but I was curious as to what the rest of y'all thought on how each unit performed over the course of the season. RB and DL were the toughest to judge because those positions had the most quality players.

QB:
1. MSU
2. Auburn (was #3)
3. Bama (wasn't ranked)

RB:
1. UGA
2. Arkansas
3. Auburn

WR/TE:
1. Auburn
2. Ole Miss (Most quality receivers and tight ends in the conference)
3. Alabama (Strong with Cooper, but not a whole lot of depth)

OL:
1. UGA
2. Auburn
3. Arkansas

DL:
1. Mizzou
2. Arkansas
3. Tennessee

LB:
1. Alabama
2. UGA
3. Mississippi St.

DB:
1. Ole Miss
2. LSU (was #3)
3. Florida (was #2)

K/P:
1. A&M
2. Alabama (blame Griffith for not being #1)
3. Floruda

Returners
1. Mizzou
2. UGA
3. LSU

Changes based on recommendations will be in Bold

All Auburn will have at WR/TE next year is Duke. Which is good, but everything else is a toss up.

Edit: We're talking this year. My bad.

We had the #3 passing efficiency defense in the nation and #1 in the SEC. So there are actual stats that show what you want here and it shows your list is absolute shite.

LSU doesn't have a proven RB. That backfield is a mess

And WTF is this shite?

Blake Sims was better than anything A&M put out there. Should be MSU, Bama, Auburn....11 teams later LSU.

Yeah but you had Chavis, that knocks you down a few spots.

I think I may have been overly swayed by how the teams performed in bowl games. You're probably right about Sims being better than A&M. Not sure about Auburn though. I'll change it in the OP.

No not at all. Fournette just ran for over a 1000 in a shared backfield. Our running game was all we had. That said, ic would see us 5-6 in rb efficiency. Deep, good rb units in the conference. UGA is clear #1 but after that its a tossup. Army was very good.

I don't necessarily disagree with your rankings. My bias, nut-grabbing arse would like to note that A&M is very talented at WR, so if you were ranking them 1-4, we would be 4th.

SC would be in the Top 3 for:

QB - Dylan had more passing yards than anybody and tied for most TD's

WR/TE - SC had the 2nd most receiving yards behind a&m I believe. Also, Pharob Cooper was 1st Team All SEC.

Looks about right except I would replace A&M with Alabama at QB and flip flop Auburn and Arkansas at RB because Payne was the conference leading rusher.

Only made top 3 in 3 categories, only #1 in 1. Won SEC.

Saban's best coaching job.
