Its a tradition, one you can believe the coaches were aware of.

So if it's tradition to go out partying on the last day of fall camp, and the coaches know about it, why have a curfew?

I don't think it's that big of a deal unless the guy that was seriously injured can identify the attacker.

no i think the fight IS a big deal. I'm not talking about the fight. I'm talking about the tradition of breaking curfew on the last day of fall camp. Big deal, i'm sure stuff like that goes on everywhere.

"Just sayin', the night before the Liberty Bowl when some Arkansas players did the exact same thing (snuck out after checking in), Petrino sent them home.

Now, suspending 22 players might not be the smartest thing to do if Miles wants to win, but it's the ethical thing to do."

Bobby Petrino is your head coach. Please don't lecture us on what is "ethical".

If he's lawyering up, it can't be too good.

to be fair, the LSU players will probably lawyer up because the other guys in the fight lawyered up.

one of the guys was treated for minor injuries.. and went to a lawyer on friday, later that friday, he goes to the hospital for a head scan or some shite

And the back up is the guy who threw all the pick 6's?

That was three seasons ago. Lee was probably one of the better 2nd string QB's in the nation a year ago; instrumental in victories over Tennessee, Florida and Alabama. Actually, the word coming off of the practice field in BR is that Lee has outperformed both Jefferson and Mettenberger. LSU will run the ball 40 or more times per game regardless of who is under center IMO.

yeah bad timing for this article since JJ likely wont be playing. At least not in the opener.

You have got to be kidding. I personally wouldn't suspend him for any games. Just make them do some extra running and other in-house discipline.

If all he did was break curfew then I'd agree, but it looks like JJ was involved in a bar fight where someone got seriously injured.
