I mean you guys did have a high powered passing attack every season Murray was around. Ijs some teams stacked the box against Lattimore and he still ran on them

you actually didn't state any facts. I have posted plenty of stats and data to support my claims.

What you did do was get riled up that someone thinks your player doesn't belong as high on this list, and in some primitive way of showing it picked out 3 games of about 30 to make some sort of point.

you've posted 7 times in this thread to his/her 3, you seem to be the riled one.

So Lattimore didn't run over uga gotcha. Your a lot more riled up than me. You practically busted a nut because somebody ranked a usc back ahead of a Georgia back

and everythign I've said has had facts or thoughtful responses (well, up until now) that actually relate to the thread. It's a 4 page thread where I've been going along with the topic, so your '7 times' point is utterly meaningless.

All they've done is look at 1 post I made saying latt shouldn't be as high (and at the same time I gave latt much respect and said he undoubtedly should be on the list somewhere), to which he tried to turn it around into what latt did against UGA.

Seems to me like one of us was actively participating in the spirit of the thread while the other just felt slighted.

don't flatter yourself, I've posted other stats (something you have not) talking about auburn running backs too.

Lattimore had 11 career 100 yard games in 29 games played. For comparison, of guys that played just this year, Fournette has 14 in 24 games; Henry has had 11 the past 27 games; Chubb has 13 in 20 games; ALex Collins has 16 in 37 games. And all 4 of those players have much higher YPC over their careers than Marcus Lattimore. Even before the injury I always thought Lattimore was highly overrated. He was a good back, but I have never understood why people have drooled over him in the past.

If we're honestly comparing running backs, Lattimore reminds me a lot of Jalen Hurd fwiw

Lattimore never had the benefit of an Alabamba, LSU, or UGA offense line or the Arkansas line Collins ran behind.

Lattimore did more with less.

I don't think you can summarize Lattimore's legacy simply based on stats. When he got to SC he quickly became the entire offense. He had to run against stacked boxes with less than an elite OL. He was having a special season his sophomore year before the first knee.

So South Carolinas line during Lattimores tenure was as good as Bama, LSU, and Auburns?

He punished UGA every time he played them. I really don't understand why you of all people are going so hard in this thread

You could replace Lattimore with Stevan Ridley and SC with LSU and it's the same story.

Ridley's not on this list, and he had a better 2010 than Ingram.
