Ya I think Cadillac should take Chubbs spot for now
He definitely should, and one could argue that he should also be over Emmitt Smith as well.

I realize Carnell Williams played 4 years compared to Emmitt Smith's 3, but he also missed time with injuries and had to share the backfield with Ronnie Brown - another SEC great.

6. Todd Gurley - Absolute monster, if he doesn't get suspended his Junior year he likely pushes Bo for the #2 spot.

If he would have had all 3 years who knows what could of been.

He. Was. Sick.

Shouldn't be on the list...yet.

Maybe not. He needs a solid year this coming season. If he does, he could go ahead of Gurley and bump Gurley way down.

Because I had an opinion and personally thought one great RB might be on a list above another great RB? Aggy dickriding meets Bama entitlement.

If we want to pick stats McFadden had over 1000 more yards, was more versatile, and I won't even mention his special teams numbers since this is an RB conversation.

Runner up 2 years in a row on a team not in the title picture is pretty good.

In his only season as a starter?

Ingram was much better than Henry and I'm certainly no Ingram fan. Lacy was better than both of them.

Herschel, Bo, Dmac, Gurley, Chubb/LF7 probably make up a solid top 5.

Darren McFadden had 183 more carries during his time at Arkansas compared to Derrick Henry and his time at Alabama, while also playing with a team with much less talent all the way around (offensive line, wide receiver, quarterback, tight end). Yards per carry when comparing the two is meaningless, IMO, and Darren McFadden was clearly the better college player. Alabama also currently has a better offensive mind calling and preparing the offense.

Darren McFadden should definitely be #3 behind Herschel Walker and Bo Jackson.

Why do you act like anyone saying an SEC legend like DMC might be overall greater as an SEC player is somehow an indictment of Henry's ability?

Might be? It isnt even close. It's like comparing Jake Coker to Cam Newton.

Henry was an above-average talent SEC RB who won the Heisman because of his defensive front 7 and because he got a historic number of carries
