DMC didn't cut the mustard though in the SEC title game and in their bowls.

All time? Lots of great running backs know one on here seems to remember from days past. LSU had Charles Alexander, he was really special. Billy Cannon, Terry Robiskie, Jimmy Taylor. Other schools have had great ones too. Don't forget about the great old timers when you say "all time"

Why do you act like anyone saying an SEC legend like DMC might be overall greater as an SEC player is somehow an indictment of Henry's ability?
It's baffling, really.

Consider this... Darren McFadden had 6,086 total yards and 51 touchdowns in 3 years. That's incredible.

Heisman trophies are terrible ways to judge college careers on an individual basis because of the inherent bias for winning teams. Were Tebow or Troy Smith as good as Jay Cutler? frick NO! Peyton didn't win a Heisman either.

We lost 4 games the season Tebow won the Heisman.

Comparing an average player to an SEC all-time great. Thats the part you missed.

Henry is obviously a tier above Coker so don't give me that nonsense.

He also was on less talented teams and was coached by.....

When the lights were on brightest, DMC failed.

If we want to pick stats McFadden had over 1000 more yards, was more versatile, and I won't even mention his special teams numbers since this is an RB conversation.

Henry was an above-average talent SEC RB who won the Heisman because of his defensive front 7 and because he got a historic number of carries

I'm not sure you know what side of the ball a running back works behind.

A lot. As a pure running back Henry is better.

Having more touchdowns on almost 200 fewer carries is hard to argue

Too bad DMC shat his pants when it mattered most. Can't say that about Henry.

I can't believe there is anyone attempting to argue that Henry was better than DMAC. DMAC carried a mediocre Arkansas team. He'd have been a no brainier Heisman winner had he played for Bama. DMAC is the best running back I've seen in my lifetime, with Fournette potentially taking that spot next year.

I was young when Bo and Herschel were playing so I can't comment on them in the same way I can Henry and DMAC.

I'd put DMac over Henry. The guy even threw for 7 TDs. Top 3 are Herschel, Bo, DMac. The next two are debatable.
