So, these two hacks together weren't as good as Henry, huh?

A lot. As a pure running back Henry is better.

Yes LF7 is the better overall NFL back and will probably have more yards in career. When DH2 needed to step up he did...LF7 got alot of his 200s before SeC play. Big time players shine in big moments. The problems I have with L5U posters they what to hand all these accolades to LF7 but he yet to prove it in a Big game.

I still don't understand this nonsense. Fournette had one bad game the entire year. Henry had several poor games.

Fournette had a bad game versus the best front 7 in the country by a mile. Anybody who watched that game could plainly see that it wasn't his fault at all.

If your only idea of a big game is the one vs Bama, then you're showing typical Bama egoism

And almost 32 in one game.

Good luck convincing them otherwise.

Leonard Fournette, being the Superman he is, should've broken countless tackles in the backfield and opened those running lanes by himself. Damn an offensive line, LF7 should've been able to go 11-on-1 and still dominate that Alabama defense.

Bama's D worked LSU, including the DBs working Leonard one on one.

Which ones?

3.75 vs Mich St
3.5 vs Arkansas
4.0 vs ULM

Fournette had two games where he didn't average at least 4.8 yards per carry. One was against Bama the other was against Ole Miss (4.32). In that game LSU started 2 true freshmen and a redshirt freshman on the line. LSU had a true freshman FB and a QB that struggled to complete 50% of his passes. Fournette was the leading rusher in that game and the 2nd leading receiver with 108 rush yards and 72 receiving yards. He also had a 59 yard run called back in that game.

The points I try to get across are;

1. Henry is good, but being awarded the Heisman was nothing but Bama bias. If you don't believe so, how was Cooper 3rd in heisman voting the year before when other WRs have had just as impressive stats in power 5 conferences years prior and not sniff top 3 and only one made a distant 4th? AJ McCarron was 2nd in 2013 when he only had 2675 pass yards and 26 pass TDs during the ceremony?

Mark Ingram had 1540 rush yards, 320 receiving yards, and 18 total TDs at the time he won the heisman. Gerhart had over 1700 rush yards 150 receiving yards, 26 rush TDs, one passing TD, and was second. Colt McCoy had 70.6% 3500 pass yards 350 rush yards and 30 total TDs. He also had an undefeated TEXAS team yet still came in 3rd. Yet Ingram with good, not great stats, won it.

2. Fournette had a bad game in the worst possible situation for a RB. Sorry QB, sorry play calling, sorry OL and on the road vs the best front 7 in the country. Other than that game, he was phenomenal.

3. I never thought Fournette should have won the heisman, although being placed 6th seemed like a huge slap in the face to him. I think Watson, who had his team undefeated and who put up crazy numbers, or McCaffrey who put up crazy numbers on the PAC 12 champ, should have gotten it. Henry was great last year, but I feel like those guys were better.

All in all, I hope Henry does good in the NFL because I have nothing against him, and I hope Fournette gets 3 years of payback on Bama this upcoming year.

I guess you think his YPC against Monroe would have stayed there had he played the 2nd half? 97 yards and a TD against a decent Arky defense? Terrible? That's more than Fournette rushed for against them.

Yeah, when you cheat you don't get credit. That's the penalty part. He also fumbled twice and failed to score.

This is all just ridiculous. The PTSD is strong as hell in some of you guys.

1 - Herschel of course
2 - Bo Jackson
3 - Darren McFadden
4 - Derrick Henry
5 - Emmitt Smith
6 - Mark Ingram
7 - Todd Gurley
8 - Kevin Faulk
9 - Trent Richardson
10 - Cadillac Williams

I've left off LF, because his career isn't done. Chubb can crack the top 10 also.

A good year, LF can get in the top 3 I think. A case could be made for the #1 slot if he's dominant, wins the Heisman and they win it all.

Gurley is on a lot of poster's lists. His injury and the autograph thing took away a lot of stats that he certainly would have had.

Cecil Collins is in the same vein of back. Although his "injury" was in his headbone, if he had been able to play 3 or 4 years without being a crazy person, you would be putting him fairly high on all your lists. Any of you who have actually watched him play feel free to comment.

Rondel Meaky was an above average back but he's not even a top 10 back at LSU much less the SEC

All world professional, very good college. That is to say, he wasn't a scrub, was very good actually, but he's not the 5th best RB in SEC history.

Pretty sure Korin is just a closet Bama fan.

But, as an LSU fan, I can tell you that every time DMAC touched the ball, my heart stopped.

Henry never inspired that kind of fear.

4th most YPC of any game in his career (14.4 vs Auburn in 2014, 12.5 vs OU in 2013 and 18.5 vs Arky in 2013)

So, you could say he beat LSU twice last season.

My god, you're so fricking stupid.

Only a Georgia fan would put Chubb ahead of Fournette.
