This is the same site that when they ranked the SEC coaches had Gus ahead of Saban and Vandy's coach who has never won an SEC game, ahead of Miles and Richt.

So Joe Namath was better than Dan Marino in the NFL because Joe won a ring? Please...Florida and Alabama's defense won those rings.
Bonus: McCarron isn't going to make it through preseason in his rookie season and Chris Leak is already a WR(that stands for wide receiver, not quarterback) coach in college, while Eli has two rings. Guess we saw what happened when the QB's were put on an even playing field.

Guess you didn't want to include a key part.
Leak: 4 years
Eli: 3 years
Congrats. Chris, playing one full season longer, threw for a whopping:
1,094 yards and 7 TD's
more than Eli.
Eli would have had those stats covered in the first three weeks of that extra season. Leak was a good system QB on a great team. Eli was a great QB on an average team. It showed in the pros.

Manning was pretty awful in his freshman season in limited playing time, so who knows what his stats would have looked like had he started as a true fresh like Leak?
