When was the last time they had any success. Was it the Sid Bream era? They had a random season a few years ago but the “team of the 90s” was a long time ago.

Damn, you're a dumbeyone.

Good for him. It’ll be interesting to see who goes with him to be on staff and who we get to replace him. He certainly left the program better than he found it.

He's moving to San Fransisco?

California?

Like to the Bay Area that has an extreme amount of liberals and you have to be extra PC about everything?

Did either party do their homework here?

Tough time to get a coach. Any idea who you guys are looking at?

EDIT: pardon me for being lazy and not reading the thread before posting.

Good for Vitello. Not sure why Vowels are broken up by this. It’s called the natural progression of things. Nick Saban won a title at LSU then gave it a shot with the Dolphins. Because it is the pinnacle of the sport. Vitello may do great, he may suck or he could just be serviceable. It had to happen

He was the second highest paid college coach in history. We built him his stadium, paid his staff, funded NIL.

Money isn’t the reason he’s leaving.

You are correct,

Jay Johnson and LSU is his daddy, he couldn't compete. So he ran away pissing down his leg.

San Fran is baseball crazy though. They won three WS in a span of five years in 2010, 2012 and 2014. He may not like their politics but money and California pussy is not bad

I guess if you can’t beat Van Horn you just have to move on at some point.

I use to live in San Jose. I've been to many Giants games, especially back when Bond was playing. One of my partners is a huge Giants fan. My other partner is a Dodgers fan.

They are both huge baseball fans, they go to spring training games and all that. They do a super serious fantasy baseball league too.

So yeah, I'm familiar.

If things go bad, I expect them to go really bad.
