18 pages in less than three hours.
The gump types see nothing wrong with what happened, except some fine ute was a victim of police brutality.
The rest of the free world is trying to figure out how somebody got maced and charged with resisting arrest for playing loud music.

Aren't these the exact same thing? I see no reason to arrest someone for loud music. Seems like an overreach.
I'm actually proud of the guy. Big name recruit for football and he gets arrested for loud music at a party. Meaning he wasn't drinking because they obviously would have given him MIP if they could have.

This doesn't happen unless he became unruly. Period

By all accounts, he wasn't arrested for "loud music."

See if this is happening at 5 in the evening it's one thing. But chances are it was 3 in the morning after the bar and somebody called the cops and said "there are a group of guys playing loud music and I have to wake up and go to class in the morning"

Aye, there's the rub.

Cops aren't going to arrest anyone for loud music. That might've been the call that brought them there but there's no way they pepper sprayed and arrested him (in front of others at a party) over loud music.
The story doesn't add up.

I dunno. I've seen cops do some pretty outrageous things. They're just people. They make mistakes.

sigh
you don't get arrested for loud music
you get arrested for purposely failing to comply with an officer's request
then you really get arrested for resisting arrest
it's not the music that's the issue. No cop expects t arrest someone on a house call for a noise violation.

He's 18. Where's the minor in possession charge?

We'll see. Rumor is there's video somewhere so hopefully that comes out. I want to really know what happened here.

The charges are public: failure to obey and resisting arrest.
I'm not seeing what's "outrageous" about that.

AFTER the bar.

I mean it sounds like he disobeyed
given the charges
given the charges

What was he failing to obey? Was it his house? His radio? Did he bring a drum set to the party and start playing it at 3 am?
Were other people arrested? How can he be the only one at a track team party arrested for loud music?

sounds like cop said turn the music down
Brown didn't, right in the cops face
cop says fine, you're arrested

AFTER the bar.
An intoxicated minor can still be charged even if not in possession of a bottle. It would be illegal for him to be drunk.
If this isn't true then I have some old friends who need some records expunged.

Isn't that called "disturbing the peace". I just find it odd hes not charged with that.
