Would make a separate post about this but there are just so many... Legit question though: Why is Venables' name not coming up at all?
He seems like an obvious choice IMO. Look at what is causing trouble for Alabama and UGA this season... it's a lights out defensive front 7 with DBs that can play tight to take away short/intermediate passes. You could still get burned by teams that can throw deep well (see: Clemson/Syracuse), but in the SEC East, how many of those teams are you going to run into. Feels like he could be had at at a reasonable contract value given that he has no HC experience.
Anyways... if you want to give your liver a Coup de Grace, just look for the 2017 SEC Championship drinking game.
