I like "Longest two weeks of the year" though it is a bit long.

I got a few:

Obviously-the Saban Bowl--without Saban this game isn't a very big deal to LSU fans.

The over-hyped bowl- It always gets more attention when there are plenty of other games just as important.

The big-game bowl- Its a big game only. Not like a UT or AU rivalry with Bama.

THe LSU Super Bowl- nuff said

The not much is being said in Alabama about this game bowl- Very little talk in Bama about this game. Most talk is about Auburn and their troubles and Malzahns situation. Talk will probably pick up next week.

The why is this game always on prime time bowl- Playing at night is an LSU tradition not a Bama one. We should be able to have our game at 2:30.

Finally, the Dont call this another game of the century bowl. It's a worn out cliche' to go with other GOTC.
69- Arky- Texas
71 Nebraska- OU
86 PSU Miami
96 UF -UT
93- ND-FSU
06 OSU- MICH

It's a big game, nothing more. Not in Alabama anyway.

The series, historically, is totally one-sided.

The hatred, to this day, is totally one-sided.

These are facts, and I know they are uncomfortable for some people but we're going to have to deal with them moving forward.

The need to feel superior via the football team, historically, is totally one-sided.

Also a fact.

I get acknowledging and enjoying that line on the screen showing the record for the overall history of the series, but there is nothing inside of me that feels anything towards football that happened before I was born. At around 16-13 Bama lead since I've existed, and near split since I've been really following sports, it just doesn't feel like Bama has that ivory tower position that they do in the 100 years of games. I'm sorry if my inability to be affected by games or teams I've only heard of and not seen upsets anyone.

So while the series is definitely one-sided, the only feelings derived from it is a kind of apathetic eye-rolling I get during the daily Bama fan "remember when" episodes.

Arky fans are so mad that their savior is turning out to be a shite coach and y'all can't win more than 7 games a year to save your lives

But the respect for the other program, and excitement when you win, is pretty equal

I vote for this one.

ETA: When was the last time both teams didn't schedule their bye before this matchup? Before Saban went to Bama?

Since 2010, 2012 is the only year that both teams didn't have a bye week before this game.

Alabama didn't have a bye in 2012.

OR just call it the Alabama-LSU game.

Eli Gold explains it well from the Bama perspective

Scalpers Bowl

Seriously, this series has been the most expensive ticket on StubHub for most, if not all, of the last few years now.

Maybe Coolio can make a song for it called "Scalpers' Paradise."
