Invite NC State in the next expansion.
Don’t rap at me about some make believe scenario where Duke or UNC are the only ones from that area that should be sought out.
I am not saying this in an “In the moment” , I watching them in the CWS way, either. They would be such a good addition. They have great support, large enough school, athletics are good overall, and an untouched market.

Overall, they have good fan support in football but they don’t have a huge fan base considering how much they graduate.

I think that we haven’t seen them really put in a position in sports to see a really large fanbase. They have one though, bigger than a few of the SEC schools, for sure

You’re right about them not having many opportunities in sports. I grew up and went to school in Raleigh and most people were UNC fans. Since UNC and Duke have the basketball market pegged down, it’s hard for State to find success usually. That’s the vibe at least

NC State hasnt won a national or conference championship or tournament in mens football, baseball, or basketball since 1992 when baseball won the conference tournament
I dont think theres any SEC team that has avoided that level of success for so long
