Had a runner on 3rd w/ 0 or 1 out basically every inning and just couldn’t break through against that lefty.

These boys from Virginia know what stage they are playing on. This CWS is shaping up for some really good games ahead. Tennessee’s loser bracket game is gonna be a good one.

UF had one of our best teams in Omaha a few years back and we ran into a lefty pitcher with Virginia who mowed us down like like a Dixie Chopper. It happens.

It’s funny how Virginia plays a lot better in the tournament when they’re a lower seed as opposed to a national seed

We have struggled against LHP all season so it’s not really surprising to see us stall out against one of the best in the country.
Think only one batter in the lineup has better splits vs lefties.

Congrads to UVA. Yall dominated us in every part of the game. Abbott and Wyatt combined for around 13 strikeouts. Very good pitching.
We had our chances to keep it close but blew it.
