I was there too but I recorded it and found his segments after because of what everyone was saying on the rant.
It was pretty shocking.

McShay looked really bad Saturday. We commented on him when they first threw to him on the sideline.
Mack Brown also looked not well in a lot of the sideline shots during the UNC game.

I noticed this too. Look rough on that sideline this weekend.

Nah, he’s a drunk. Swollen face, unsteady hands, nervous slurred words. I’d bet a few hundred that his skin is all blotchy under that thick makeup as well

He’s going on vacation with Scott Cochran.

Wow - that was almost scary.
It was hard to watch. I hope he gets well.

I’d bet on pills rather than alcohol. As already suggested benzos or if not that opioids.
May not have even popped them until after the pregame so nobody noticed until he was on air.

yeah I felt bad for him looked like he had found out some fricked up news or has some kind of serious medical issue
Posted on 9/7/21 at 2:51 pm to RumHam
I actually thought it was more of a panic attack.

His is usually much thinner in his face

Looked swollen like on a round of cortical Steroids.

I missed this game but he was fuked up last year too.

Some people are saying he just founf out a colleague died.
Some people said he had covid.
He was like this last year. It's almost like he is on prednisone or something the way his face is.
I'm guessing it's health problems.

Dude was messed up on something. It was painfully obvious

quote:Thats what it looked like to me. My mother was on prednisone for 12 years and her face looked like that. I may have to go on it at some point due to having a type of Lupus. It is deadly long term due to screwing up a persons immune system. Good for what ails you in the short term, though
prednisone

Does prednisone cause you to slur words and have trouble putting sentences together? Never taken it that I know of.

No. Might make him piss every two minutes though.
Benzos don't do this either, unless you're doing a ton of em.
Brain issues or alcoholism seem most likely.

His speech pattern suggests benzos.
Or opiates. Very similar to my brother's speech pattern when he was on an opiate binge. The shaking hands as well.

His face is losing its form, he’s slurring words. Something is very wrong. I doubt a side piece is causing it.
I'm always careful with instances like this. I watched my Pops do the same thing. His face looked like it was losing form, his speech deteriorated where he had trouble even being able to get certain words out. Whenever he did get stuff out, he sounded like he was under the influence of something. He got to where he didn't want to talk around people he didn't know because he was afraid they would think he was drunk. He was a man I, and everyone who knew him, knew didn't drink or anything.
After many medical hoops being jumped through, he was diagnosed with ALS. By the end he couldn't speak at all, nor could he eat.
With that said, I don't know what McShay's issues are. I won't be throwing out guesses or making assumptions, though.
