I wish the conference would reduce to 8 teams
Alabama
Auburn
Lsu
Florida
Tennessee
Georgia
aTm
Arkansas
Round robin, 2or3 top notch OOC games, and a couple of tune up games a year. I know ithe conference wouldn't be as strong financially, but from a competive standpoint nothing could compare.

re: what about Phil Snow?

That meltdown seemed to have more to do with the fact, that their QB couldn't complete a pass, than their D. They were physically out matched and lost several starters that game and still managed to take it to us for 3 quarters. You have to look at potential. What about Phil Snow.it seems as if some here only know the names that have been thrown around on TD's. There are plenty of quality coaches out there to be had.
what about Phil Snow?

He is a very solid coordinator, and Temples defense was just nasty this year. I think at this point he or Aranda from Wisconsin should be high on our lists. Aranda was the first name I threw out last week, but no one even said so much, as he sucks.

My erection is mentally challenged, using the term insane erection is very insensitive. Its 2015 for gods sake, show a little respect.

We led the conference in kick return yards avg, 4th in PR avg. 2nd in punt avg. Our special teams were fine except delahousse, at the end of the year. Some of you are just miserable pricks.
considering bama gave up 42

Are the days of dominant D's, a thing of yesteryear? And if so, it may be time to take a shot at a DC from a smaller school who has had success against the spread. The game has changed and its more about disguising coverage, and creating turnovers. Until someone proves they can constantly shut down spread offenses, they ain't worth 1.7 million a year.

I was there, first LSU game I ever attended. People several rows up were kicking the metal bleachers, I swear at 10 years old it sounded just like a tornado. But god himself couldn't have pried me off that seat.
re: should Cam Cameron be held accountable for the state of our pass game

We don't have to throw the ball around like Oregon to be successful, we just need to execute better on the plays we are calling. We will improve at the QB position, but the receivers will still need to catch the ball when we do. Teams that have the ability to run the football at will complete passes when needed, are the ones that win championships. Our offense will improve, our defense will be lights out next year, but we ain't ever gonna run the fun and gun. So I guess you'll still be here next year complaining when we are winning all these, low scoring games, by a slim margin. The formula of conservative football is tried and true. Just because you think is antiquated, doesn't make it any less so. Our time is coming, no one thought it would be this year. We are exactly what we thought we would be. After the State and Auburn games, no one gave this team a chance to even stay on the field with Bama, now you're in here bitching, instead of praising the team for a hard fought performance. I bet you are the kind of guy that ended up with a 7, but still thinks he could have gotten a 9 or 10, But in all actuality you should have ended up with a 3 or a 4, but you will never be satisfiedbecause in your mind you think you could have done better, all the while never realizing just how lucky you are.

No, what I'm saying is there are others who played far worse than Jennings, and yes the defense dI'd give us the ball back with a chance to win. We came away with a field goal, we were ahead. We didn't make a stop, what I'm saying is its no more ones fault than the other. How many LSU- Alabama games have you guys watched. Its a very conservative game plan on both sides, control the clock, limit turnovers, give yourself a chance to win the game In the final minutes. We did well in all phases of that strategy last night. So stop piling on the offense, this was a team loss, same as it would have been a team win.
re: Seriously.....how did we end up in this QB situation?
Posted by Sulli174 on 11/9/14 at 8:23 pm
What game did you watch? Jennings isn't asked to make a lot of throws in this scheme, but he threw the ball well last night, there is a big difference between a drop and an incompletion. Our receivers literally dropped the ball last night. This isn't Jennings fault. Its not the Miles or Cams fault, they called the perfect game to give us the best chance to win. One more set of downs would have made the difference. How many drops did we have that would have resulted in a first down?

Our hand wasn't tied behind our back, we called the right pass plays when needed, the ball was placed well most of the time, the receivers dropped balls that hit them right in the hands. This drops all would have resulted in key first downs to sustain drives. Just one more set of downs would have made the difference. Had trey Quinn caught just one of those drops,we would be sitting talking about Arkansas today, or how bad it sucks we have to pull for Bama. If the ball must be thrown perfectly for you to catch it, you are not a receiver.

Society pays a price for every entitled shite head, that never faces any consequences for their actions, all while their mentors turn a blind eye. Most are just using these kids and never prepare them for the world.

No you're the dumb frick. You don't have to score 40 points to win games, and it only take one point to win.the offense probably had more to do with our chances to come away with the win last night, than our defense did.I guess time of possession and limiting the number of plays Bama ran last night had zero effect on the game. Our offense sustained long drives and consumed a lot of the clock, allowing our defensive players to stay fresh. The defense did play great last night, but in the end when called on to make a stop and win the game, they just couldn't get it done. When the game was on the line the offense responded and put us ahead. There are many different strategies, that can be emplemented to win football games. You don't have score every possesion while holding your opponent scoreless to do so. So yes the blame rests with defense, it doesn't matter how well they performed all night, if they couldn't get it done when it mattered the most. The offense put us in a position to win and the defense didn't secure it. I think your knowledge of football is very limited.

And this is what seperates Miles from the pact, he would prefer to show his team there are higher standards in the world, than just winning football games. Time and time again Miles has done what few would, knowing that it would negatively effect his chance to win games. I'll take 9 and 3 all day long,if it means you have to look like that douche canoe Jumbo Fisher. Les is charged with building quality young men, that the university can be proud of. I wouldn't trade him for Nic Saban or Jumbo fisher, and all the national championships in the world. If you don't think tyrann Mathieu is a better person for Les Miles decision, go ask him. I hope Les is allowed to coach until he no longer cares to do so.Les miles is a Beacon of light, in a world that is in the midst of a shite storm. There was a time when that standard was the norm, and nothing else would be tolerated, now days people who are committed to doing the right thing are rediculed, and subjected to the scrutiny if people, who have zero integrity. He may be the last embodiment of what is good about collegiant athletics. So go ahead, go find some crooked arse coach that only cares about winning, you'll be sorry that you did.

We had the game one last night, our game plan worked. The blame rests with the defense. We were ahead with 50 seconds to play. How in the hell is that Camerons fault? We couldn't get a stop when we had too. End of story. We out played Bama, but we just didn't have enough fight left at the end. This didn't start happening overnight, it has always been the case with LSU football. Ror over a hundred years, with the exception of a handful of seasons. We are in the greatest years of our schools history, why can't some of you enjoy what we have. I think many have forgotten what its like to really suck.
