That 94 basketball title with 80 minutes of hell isn't your favorite?

Big 3 are football, mens basketball and womens basketball.
There is no logical answer to claim college baseball as a big 3 sport.
Around 5-6 teams make a profit (very small profit at that) and way more people watch womens basketball (and softball).
So when you say which of the big 3 was your favorite you are referring to football, mens basketball and womens basketball

06 OSU football
06 UCLA basketball
07 OSU basketball
08 OU football
17 LSU baseball
96 FSU football
The first four all happened while I was attending UF so that was pretty cool

#1 is '96 Football - Nothing better than beating a rival for a natty
#2 is '06 Basketball - Beating blueblood UCLA for the title was special
#3 is '17 Baseball - Beating rival LSU who was the beast of Omaha in recent years and getting a title in all 3 was awesome!
But better than all of these was our 1st SEC championship ever in 1984. Everyone went nuts! It took 52 years to win our first one, and then the SEC presidents voted to take it away after the NCAA ruled that we could keep it.
Still pissed about that.

yall won by 7 in a game where you had a defensive touchdown. For yall being a title team and us having a TFr qb and losing 5 games it didn't feel like an arse kicking

I have really enjoyed watching State and Ole Miss win their respective titles in Omaha the last 2 years because I remember how special that first one is. You can't wipe the smile off you face for days.

2009-
After the debacle of Mike Dumbose, Fran, the death penalty and the whole world saying "Bama will never be back" it was so sweet to be on top again. I honestly didn't sleep that night and celebrated all week. if I recall the game was on like a Wed night for some reason and I told my boss I wasn't coming in the rest of the week before the game.
Everyone knew Texas had no shot and the game was a formality. It was just fun to be that relaxed going into a title game and ENJOYING it. Plus it was in the greatest venue for a title, the Rose Bowl.

Absolutely 2000. I was born right after the back-to-back 74 and 75 championships, and while I remember being excited about the one in 85, I was still too young to fully appreciate it.
After probation and the dismal 90s, especially the hopeless feeling of the Scnellenberger/Blake years of 1995-98, just making it to a bowl game in 99 was a nice feeling after four years of not doing so. The Oklahoma fanbase had been truly humbled.
I think OU was ranked #19 to start the 2000 season, and we were glad to be ranked at all. Then came that unbelieveable Red October run:
10/7/00 #11 Texas W 63-14 - "Holy shite...we might be good! And frick Texas!"
10/14/00 #2 Kansas State W 41-31 - "We are good, but we're about to find out if we're for real."
Bye week
10/28/00 #1 Nebraka W 31-14 - NU jumped out to a 14-0 lead, and I felt that familiar sinking feeling of the last 10 years. Then OU proceded to score 31 unanswered. OU was ranked #1 for the first time in almost a decade. It was beautiful.
Tough wins over A&M and OSU before a back-and-forth nailbiter rematch against KSU in the B12 CG.
And then holding the #1 offense in the country scoreless in the NC game. Unbelievable. OU had been #1 since the Nebraska game, but FSU was favored by 11.5.
It was truly a dream season that can't really be put into words. I don't know if it can ever be better than that 2000 season that ended the dark days.

Either 1992 or 2012. Beating the blowhards of Miami was very sweet, but obliterating Notre Dame holds a special place in my heart.
