1996 UK basketball team was the greatest college team ever. We were absolutely filthy.

Y'all had a great defensive run for several years. I remember the 2003 team that we beat had an SI cover calling it the most dominant defense of all time. Lehman, Straight and the boys. They were unreal. LSU'S Offense only scored 2 td's in that championship game. Y'all were the real deal in that era on defense.

1992

'09 was a close second because it was with my own family and life circumstances

After the '11 and '12 back to back, all others have been icing on a very delicious cake that we've gotten very fat off of.

When Championship game losses don't sting so bad, you know your spoiled. I love every win and appreciate every loss of this run. There will never be another like it in my lifetime

'03 football - my dad always talked about the '58 team and then finally getting to experience it, wish he was there to see it, passed a couple of years before...

I was blessed to attend that Sugar Bowl with my dad trust me your dads was with you in spirit.

I lost my grandpa earlier this year after a bout with alzeimers. We're bayou boys and my grandfather is related to Coach O's mom. A replay of LSU Clemson played around Christmas and he thought it was live. All he kept asking was "Is that BeBe coaching LSU?" He cried when the clock hit zero like it was a live game. Getting old sucks. Losing loved ones sucks. But it's cool that we have insignificant things like sports to bring us close together.

Bama whipping and humiliating Miami in New Orleans in January ‘93 (92 season). Never been so happy to see loudmouth thugs crying on the sidelines with towels over their heads.

George Teague ripping that ball away from Lamar Thomas is still one of my favorite football-at-any-level moments ever

ETA: Brother Oliver coached that secondary, but guess who else did? Stallings. He was involved with that Alabama secondary like crazy.

I wonder if Oliver minded?

It was a team effort between the two, I believe. They had those boys so ready and dialed in. One of the most creative (eleven on the line of scrimmage) and dominant defensive game plans I’ve ever seen. Didn’t hurt to have Curry, Copeland, Tommy Johnson, Teague and Langham on our side.

2005.

I saw Vince Young play 3 years in High School, from a raw athlete to the SR QB who destroyed Katy in the playoffs. Mr. 1.0000.

Ending 2004 on a walk off field goal against Michigan in the Rose Bowl; “We’ll be back.”

Texas, ranked #2 all year long, on a 19 game winning streak following a 70-3 win over Colorado in the Big 12 CG, against defending National Champion #1 USC, on a 34 game, 2 Heisman Trophy, winning streak.

The season long blow job USC, Matt Leinart & Reggie Bush got from Fox, ESPN and the network media all year long as the best team in the history of College Football. STFU already!

2005 Rose Bowl in Los Angeles. #1 & #2. No question, the 2 best teams in the country. Vince walked the walk, taking over the game, giving us the most exciting play in one of the most memorable games in the history of college football.

Texas ending a 35 year drought. You have to be an old to know what that feels like.

2003 or 2007 championships for the reasons you said. Nothing like climbing up from the bad 90s years to the pinnacle for the first time in 2003. And then 2007 was just a really fun season and a wild ride. 2019 was a blast but I knew we had the title locked up after we beat Alabama. Overall, the more hungry a team and fanbase is, I think the more value a championship holds. A team's sixth title is less memorable than their first for instance.
