To those who were at both games, which atmopshere was tenser -

11/5/11 or 11/3/12 ? Or were they both the same?
If Mills stays up and covers the screen like he should have (Chavis admitted it was a busted coverage), we could have been looking at a 17-17 OT game.....
Still, since Mett had been hot, I wish they would have thrown passes on 2nd and 3rd down from the Bama 28, just to get ONE more first down to run out the clock.

Bama's by far. Not louder but tenser. LSU had this game won...there wasn't the drama of the Tuscaloosa game. LSU dominated the second half therefore all was well. It tensed up after Bama got the ball the final time. Again, Tuscaloosa was more tense, but not as crazy and loud.

The game last year it felt a lot more like every single play was the most important play in the game. I think everyone in the stadium felt like one big play and the game would be over with the way the defenses were playing.
The game in BR was much louder and a much better game though, but as far as being a tense game 11/5 will be tough to ever top
plus, at the time that was a national semi-final. 2 undefeated teams sitting at the top of the polls slugging it out

11.5 was more tense, but this year was louder and more wild.

This year was more tense for me. Last year, I felt like Bama was kicking LSU's arse the whole game and never thought we'd lose until the end. This year was the opposite.

11/5 was a national championship game. The tension was out of this world. Both teams knew that it was going to take 1 play maker making 1 play and it was over.

The 2011 game was much more tense. I was at that game and everyone was on pins and needles the whole game. I've honestly never seen more HYPE surround a game than "The Game of the Century."
