Missouri's major NCAA violations center on men's basketball (Frank Haith era, leading to vacated wins and postseason bans) and academic misconduct involving a tutor for football, baseball, and softball athletes (resulting in postseason bans and recruiting restrictions). Key issues include impermissible benefits from boosters (housing, jobs, iPads) and a large-scale "paper class" scheme in the African-American Studies department benefiting athletes. The university has faced multiple infractions over the years, with recent major cases in 2016 and 2019, showing a pattern of monitoring failures and booster involvement.

That whole debacle was a nothing burger made up by the tutor. It literally was nothing but of course mizzou gets sanctions. Meanwhile, kanASS basketball is caught by the FBI paying players like we all knew they were all those years and gets a slap on the wrist.

I mean if you really think mizzou was cheating or has been cheating then you probably believe bear bryant didn't cheat.

You're stupid and I wish we would have a 3-8 season just to give people like you a reality check.

You mean saban the clown that quit once NIL leveled the playing field? As soon as bama didn't have the advantage of paying players and cheating saban quit.

You can spin it any way you want. We all know bama was cheating and paying players. Once all schools could pay players saban quit and said college football was ruined.

The truth is schools like bama ruined college sports a long time ago by cheating.

You can call me whatever you want. You can disagree all you want but the facts are the fact. When all schools were allowed to pay players Saban quit and claimed the game was now ruined b/c they were getting paid. Meanwhile saban had been paying players for years!!! lol Fuggin clown!

Alabama is still recruiting at the top dipshit. The fact is you don't understand shite and just say whatever makes you happiest out of your ignorance.

That's funny because you act like DeBoer should have one by his 2nd year.

Yep, you just have to hope that Deboer is an all-time great and can overcome this.

Weak response from the guy who claimed Indiana, Missouri and Texas Tech were so noble that they would never try to gain an athletic advantage before NIL. Especially when I provided evidence to the contrary

Yeah I know. But these days schools like bama, tOSU, etc aren't 3-4 deep at every position and now cry about 'developing players.'

Why? B/c of NIL. Now schools like TX Tech and Indiana are the 'hot nut' and winning portal recruiting battles over perennial blue bloods.

Some say Sorsby was the #1 over all portal recruit and he's headed to where? TX Tech. In previous years before NIL that does not happen. He ends up at bama, auburn, michigan, tOSU, miami, etc.

Get out and enjoy life. Go play bingo.

KD will either do a good job or not. The players will buy in or run him over....who knows.

They don't call this place "The Rant for nothing" - so thanks for your enlightening analyses

So now Bama fans are saying Saban sucked ?

Being an OU fan who has had to endure four years of the Lincoln Riley ruined the program vs. Venables sucks.... controversy....

This thread warms my heart. :

Deboer has had two different periods to bring in transfers to help his stacked roster which boasts 14 five stars and 56 four stars.

I dont expect championships but I didn't forsee yall's decline either. 90% of your metrics dropped despite bringing in the OC you wanted and more "Deboer guys" from the portal. I am fine with your regression and I am surprised you are, too.

Indiana is a bunch of covid seniors and upperclassman. They didn't get good suddenly because they started recruiting at a high level.

And I'm not even sure why you are talking shite, Missouri is a mid tier team at best. You beat nobody of significance last year.

don't expect to win every year, but you idiots seem to think that Saban left the Death Star intact when the proton torpedoes were already on their way when he left.

I saw somewhere that every high school wr committed to bama from the 20,21,22, and 23 staff has transferred. That's a lot of misses.

90% of our metrics didn't drop, our metrics increased from last year to this year back to about 2023 levels.

Deboer had the most successful first season an Alabama coach has ever had in the university's history.

In his second season, he went to the playoff and won a road game.

He has recruited excellently and is doing an amazing job on that front.

He had a mass exodus take place after Coach Saban retired and he is building back his roster to fit his schemes.

All of you are idiots who are blaming Saban or overly bitching about Deboer and/or wanting him fired. No one is going to duplicate the success Coach Saban had. That very well may never happen at any school ever again. That said, Deboer has done an excellent job and is likely to only get better.

If this message board is any indication of the intelligence of our nation, or at minimum the southeast, then we are all fricked. Many of you are full-blown retards.

Pick a stat and prove it.
Total offense yall ranked 85th in the country.

Scoring Offense? Ranked 29th to 55th. If you like going from 32 offensive points per game to 27 then so do I.

FEI:

2023: 1.04
2024: 0.93
2025: 1.01

You're an idiot who cites raw stats without context.

No one will ever say Ed Orgeron was an all time great. In his first season at LSU unranked Mississippi State took LSU to the woodshed 37-7. In his second year, Alabama mauled LSU 29-0.

In his 3rd season he went 15-0.

I can keep coming up with examples if you want me to that show one game is just that, one game.

FEI needs to be scrapped. My eye test of yall couldn't rush for positive yards against Georgia said more clearly where yall are actually at.
