Of course you'd support LSU hiring Zook >.>

Now, is there a serious suggestion?

Please get Fulmer or Tubberville.

Honestly though, when you consider the amount of talent LSU has at the skill positions and the production Miles gets out of them I think you guys will look back at this "era" in 5 years and think "what could of been".

Just look at what Saban is doing to the rest of the conference with less talent than Miles.

I hope LSU keeps him, the decline of LSU is obvious and has been for 2 years.
Kinda funny coming from an Auburn fan. Ya'll are in worse shape if you ask me and as bad as Miles is he can still beat the pants off Aubie.

Auburn's state of affairs has no bearing on our ability to analyze Les Miles. The guy is average at recruiting and below average in every other facet. He is freaking horrible at player development and time management as well.

so you would be ok if he was at bama and wasting a way talent like he does here?
I think that has more to do with your O-cordinator than it does Miles....

You shouldn't insult a good man like Shula like that.

I still think it's funny that you think we're in such decline (by the way I agree with that, fwiw ) but I just wouldn't be too overly critical when as bad as he's been he can still manage to beat Auburn, a program that right now still has as much if not more reason to be concerned than LSU. Also I think you're a little stupid if you think Miles is really only average at recruiting.

Given that he took over a program that Saban built with all crossroads into Louisiana controlled by LSU, and the ability to dip into Mississippi and Texas, I don't think he deserves so much credit for the good recruiting results.

Especially when the development of these recruits ends up sucking wind. That, or the recruits were just overrated in the first place because their talent sure isn't being shown on the field.

I would probably change coaches once every 50 years or so.

Jesus Christ, he's a coach, not fricking Alexander the Great. You're analyzing this WAYYYY too much

All things being equal - which couldn't happen, I would assume he would recruit to MSU like his does to LSU. It's all make believe but you asked the question. I would keep him but I would insist that he hire coordinators to manage the game plan and game and take his head set away from him. He would be the CEO of the football team and not interfere with the real coaches during the game.

Wow. Could you imagine how horrible a program like Miss.St would be if he was brought to re-build it? The man has no clue and you'd continue to be the laughing stock of the SEC. The way it is now you are respectable and appear to have a smart coach who is doing the right things.
