4 losses will be a failure of a season. 9-3 will be accaeptable as long as we are competetive in those losses. They will still be a tough pill to swallow. 9-3 with three blow outs looking like a buch of cluster Fks will be unacceptable. But we're going to Atlanta so this is all hypotheticle talk right.

I would like to know what is an acceptable amount of losses for the season.

Va tech, LSU, OM could all go either way. i think we'll be favored in the remainder of the games. I would be disappointed in being swept by those and losing another so in short 4. That being be said if we lose badly against VaTech because we have zero O; I would scale the win total back. Offense is too much of a variable at this point.

I think 9-3 is reasonable. 10-2 is good, anything better=gravey. I'm looking at Kentucky right before Om game as a possible upset, then either LSU, OM or possibly both. 4 losses is unacceptable!

Saban had them where he wanted them. he forced Tebow to throw, and he had to complete ALL of this passes to make that game winnable. 7/7 in the 4th quarter. (yes i'm stealing these statements from the radio from a few days ago).

That's awesome. LSU had Florida right where we wanted them too. If they had just not taken over the game and completely dominated us, we would have won!

I'd be disappointed with 8-5, but not throw-a-brick-through-Saban's-window disappointed. As we have said on other threads, we'll be in a tough position if McElroy goes down.
If that were to happen fairly early in the year, 8-5 would be an accomplishment, not a disappointment.

I'll be happy with 10 wins. Anything less would be a disappointment given our talent.

I think I would be dissapointed if we finished with less than nine wins.

Get in line. Somebody will make TIm tearful. I'd like it to be us (again) in Death Valley.

for the layman, like yourself, that just meant that Saban had Florida playing HIS game. it didn't mean we were beating their arse, but if i do remember correctly, we were ahead up until the 4th quarter. i'd say no matter how you look at that, it was a very competitive game. they "dominated" us for one quarter. we beat them fair and square for 3 quarters. great game, the better team won. and you are an arse :) but it's cool, i've probably been an arse a lot of times..... jerk :P

Everyone is hyping OM and Bammer, but on this board of completely irrational posters, the consensus for both teams seems to be that they would be satisfied with 9-3 seasons.
I'm a little surprised with this. Mostly because I think rational LSU fans would be happy with 9-3 also.
Damn I hope there's not a 3 way tie for the West.
