Thank goodness he apologized. I personally felt my throat slash and started gasping for air in my 45 yard line seats when he did the double throat slash gesture. I would hate to have had to experience this gesture and all the pain it causes up close like those poor innocents in the end zone seats. oh the humanity!

I think this is a good lesson for him and the entire team.
Oh boo fuggin hoo. This is a game, it's emotional and is suppose to be fun. This is the problem with our society, people are easily offended and get their feelings hurt, and now we have to cater to them.
I'll never forget when I was 8 or so, and one of my teammates started whining about the other team rubbing it in about beating us. My coach said "you dont want them to rub it in your face? well then quit crying about it and stop them from scoring!".
ETA: If it was JFF who was doing it I'd feel the same way, he earned it.

The reason you didn't feel the throat slash is because he was opening a cape, not slashing a throat. Didn't you notice being hit in the face with glowing balls of Cam Newton sweat?

Probably. Yeldon had a very tumultuous offseason. Can't seem to stay out of the spotlight with his partying, autographs, blowing off camps. The kid can't seem to stay out of his own way. He is always an attention seeker.
But like I said, we can't beat anyone without him so I guess we will just have to ride this one out.

Whatever. He was hating on JFF. I think it was awesome. If the team voted for him to apolgize, it was Saban's idea not theirs. Saban would not have benched anyone in that game unless they started a fight. The game had national championship implications.
I kind of liked it. However, since it was kind of Manziel specific it would have been a little better if Sunseri had done it after picking Manziel and then breaking his ankles on the INT return. It also would have been a little better if Alabama had not given up like a mile of total offense to JFF.

shite was still funny though. JFF deserved it.

Would have been ok with "Cashin out" but they will always flag the "throat slash", even in the NFL. Just a dumb move. I never care about kids celebrating but you have to keep it about your own excitement and not about the other team.
Nice Saban apology letter, I wonder if he or his secretary wrote it?

Offense had grounds to taunt. Defense...less so.

Yeldon, Hill, and JFF. Mardi Gras party crew GOAT. Hide ya kids. Literally, hide them.

Good question. It's the difference between a Bama fan paying $100 to acquire a genuine Saban Apology Letter or paying $50 to acquire a genuine Was In Saban's Office Apology Letter.

I'm starting to wonder at what point Saban is going to reign him in. It's gone beyond the point of team vote. Didn't he also have a sexual assault charge before he came to campus?
All of this doesn't surprise me. Typical Yeldon behavior. His thuggery is ruining our team.
