Well bygod! I expected former Alabama players to come out and throw their former coach under the bus! Well consider me convinced. If shady dealings were going on, I'm sure Vlachos would have tossed his former team to the side in the name of truth and honor.

I'm not saying there is anything going on. Just that a guy who just won on national championship on that team isn't going to come out bashing them. What did Vlachos say that wasn't expected?

I love Vlachos, but my God why was he such a cancer against any DT who was slightly above average when it came to run blocking? (Well his size was one reason, obviously)

Which is why he wasn't on payroll, or in the know. No Japanese steakhouse for Vlachos.

Cecil would have been foolish to send his son to the plains for nothin in return. Cam ain't no rented Mule. I'm sure AU made that 180,000 back easily several times over. That's chump change compared to the revenue the #2 jersey pulled in. A good jersey will run at least 80.00 unless you get the Walmart version. We all know AU fans don't shop there.

Every player that wants to get paid can get paid. I know guys that got money to play at UAB.
